Came here recently and was served by a lovely young lady named Mia! She was extremely patient, kind and caring about what I was looking for! As a new person to dr martens she explained the sizing to me, breaking in and brought a great amount of humour to her service! Highly recommend this place as the other staff members were chatty and had a great positive vibe about them all :)

If your looking for a pair of doctor martens then this is the place to go. Nice lady who sold us the shoes even after telling us they are not great to start with but was very nolagble and was able to explain the breaking in period.

I recently visited the store as that annoying customer who comes in 15 minutes before closing time. The staff there were absolutely amazing and so helpful even at the end of their day. As someone who has never owned a pair of Dr Martens, Billie and Sophie were great at advising me on what to buy, they are a real asset to the brand!

Top marques usually come at a high - not a fair price: my trusty "Festivals" purchased, now many moons ago, were worthy of double the money. Doc Martens are definitely built larger than life; this small store is from the same mould. If you think cheaper imitations are all you need, visit this branch of DMs; the competition is massacred. One of my favourite shops in the whole of SCUM - loves it. X

I’m so happy with my purchase today and the customer service was second to none. Government guidelines are being upheld really well. In other stores you can really tell that the guidelines that have been put in place have heavily affected customer service and being able to create an environment that feels safe and friendly rather than just a convierbelt for customers. Both Amy and Grace made my experience! Very knowledgeable and defiantly passionate about their jobs and the ethos of the shop. Amy was able to help me find the right fit, style, laces and was very keen to answer all my questions. There was a small imperfection with the shoes in the box and Grace was happy to make them look brand new. Blue light card discount in store and online also. A really big thank you! 🤗

I've always want a pair of Docs but never had the chance to buy them. So on the spur of the moment when in the area went in and explained that I've never had a pair but just wanted to look and get size right etc. I didn't get the names of the ladies that helped me but a massive thank you for being so kind and helpful. I tried on the 1460's in cherry red (wanted to go original) and I fell in love with them straight away and purchased them. It was my first purchase and 100% won't be my last.

Walked into the shop and bought my very first pair of docs (vegan) & socks in the space of 10 minutes. The three girls in today were so jolly and super helpful. Ruby in particular went above and beyond to explain things to me and find the perfect size for me! I have always bought DM's expensive yes but good investment. Boots and shoes comfortable, normally don't have to break them in. Will last ages and longer if looked after. Store is small but staff helpful,Range of products is good. Always visit when in Southampton.

U get what u pay 4 with doc martens I've had a pair of 14 hole boots 4 about 7years & they've lasted well even after numerous scooter rallys. Used 2 wear docs 2 school many moons ago. Went in 2 soton store on sat 22 sept & ordered a pair of ox blood 10 hole boots where the member of staff was really helpful don't know her name but had cool blue hair,tattoos & luvly eyes! Cu in wk when i pick em up! Thanx x

Clean, tidy, well presented as expected. The staff were a little hesitant approaching me in an empty shop but were ok when I started conversation. I didn't realise that not everything advertised online was available at the store but the staff were helpful in showing me what I wanted to try on.
