I wanted to exchange a product bought as a Christmas present (needed a larger size). I had the original order (placed online) but no receipt - also the order had been paid by PayPal. Thus meant the exchange was not as straightforward as I anticipated. However the sales assistant at the till was extremely helpful and sorted everything out for me - a refund on PayPal and a replacement product in the right size. Very helpful, very courteous, excellent service- thank you.

Watch how much you are being charged. A reduced jacket came through the till at original price. Queried it and they checked. It was £45 not £65 they tried to charge. This has happened to me before with the same shop. Great well stocked shop, but you do need to keep an eye on what you are being charged.

Love GoOutdoors. Bought the Hi Gear low, fixed height table to put my outdoor camp oven with stove on so that the stove is at the correct height for cooking. Can't wait to use it next time I go camping.

Stocks pretty much everything you need for outdoor pursuits/sports. Large store, well laid out though would benefit from public toilets or a baby changing room. There is only a disabled toilet which isn't immediately obvious and access is slightly hampered by the close proximity of clothing racks.

Went to look at electric bikes. Assisted by a young man Russel, he was very helpful & knowledgeable about the two we we're interested in. Both myself and my husband had rides on the bikes with and without batteries. Yes we bought them, also had a discount do very happy.

There's a bargain to have always in-store. Nice large open space to walk around. Tests and camping gear out the back all set up for your convenience.

Love this place. This is my Go to place for outdoor gear. I've purchased boots, shoes, trousers, fleece, bike racks and more from here and everything has been quality. Plus...you get a discount if you have a card and on top of that, they will beat any price by 10%.

Excellent range of stuff for all outdoor activities. We went down to look for camping equipment. We had received a 15% off voucher, however, it turns out my husband's discount card had expired, to renew would have cost £5. As we only wanted a little head torch we didn't bother and came away feeling a bit miffed. They obviously only give vouchers out when your card expires, hoping that you'll renew at the till.

I generally just enjoy this store. Where I live there is not much choice when it comes to buying outdoor equipment. Has plenty of brand ranges supporting almost all areas of the outdoor life from fishing to hiking. Only reason for a 4 star is because it is difficult to find staff, you do have to walk around looking for them

One of my favourite outdoor stores witj a good selection of items as well as a price match. It is worth paying for the discount card as you get your money back almost instantly depending on what you buy. Watch out for the WOW deals and don't forget the price promise which not only matches the price but knocks a further 10% off as i have used this many a time and saved a lot over the years. Staff are always helpful but not always great with math (only two to be honest in several years of visiting) so if you do use the price promise check the final price. Highly recommended.

Huge chain outdoor store, has most things you need for camping, fishing, biking, travelling, walkingetc. Enormous selection of outdoor clothing and footwear including kids. Prices are Cheap with the discount card which you have to purchase at £5 per year. It's well worth it as you probably recoup it in the first sale.

I went to pick up a bike I received a price match on, the 2017 Kona Rove AL. As I arrived at the store to find the bike department, I quickly discovered the bike had already been built and had its PDI carried out! A chap called Darson quickly came over to assist me, and a quick check over of the bike revealed an issue with the tyre. This prompted Darson to call a manager called Stu, who was both incredibly knowledgeable and offered very good service. He discovered that a replacement tyre was not in stock and kindly offered me the value of the tyre off the bike for the inconvenience. I think this is excellent service and made an already great offer even better. I have years experience working in the bike industry (independent, eCommerce, marketing), and it was awesome to discuss all things bikes with such passionate staff. I am blown away by this admittedly unexpected experience from GoOutdoors Bike Dept, and will be returning soon to buy a Calibre Bossnut that Stu spoke so highly of! Good luck expanding everything GoOutdoors, especially your amazing bike department, I hope you can topple the giants of industry! Thanks again to both Darson and Stu, who were great! Oh, and the bike is a damned good commuter hack too!

Took a Dartmoor Hornet hardtail here, technician Eddy did a tremendous job, absolutely faultless and excellent finishing* He fitted a dropper post, replace Clarks brakes to Juin Tech, switched the cables to Continental for me, (I'm an old BMX rider), added the lightest Nukeproof pedals, new Fabric Scoop seat, all exactly as specified* Eddy had the courtesy to make a few minor adjustments to suit my size, (lever postions, tyre psi, fork pressure), and even wheeled my bike out and offered put it in the car! A true gentleman, kind and courteous and well mannered. Old school professionalism* many many many thanks, will definitely use the Bike Departments services again!

We have a Robens kiowa tipi which got damaged on a recent camping trip to Pembrokeshire. I took the tipi down on Monday to be repaired, first thing Tues the go outdoors Swansea team rang to say it could not be repaired and offered me a full refund, choice of any other tent in store, or to 're order a new robens tipi which is what I requested. The following day I was contacted and told our new tipi was ready for collection. The customer service was rmsecond to none and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so so much
