I’m very confused with the most recent reviews, does not sound like that Jay Dees’ that I know! The staff are very knowledgeable in their craft and are a credit to the shop. It is hard to find a shop in the area that takes pride in caring for the quality and wellbeing of the fish over profit.

A lovely shop! Staff so friendly and even let us stay ten minutes after closing because we couldn’t choose what wood we wanted!! Lots of great fish knowledge and not pushy to sell. Gutted I live over 50 miles away otherwise I’d definitely be back for all my fish needs!! Will definitely visit if back this way again.

Fabulous aquatics shop with excellent staff. Never had a negative experience here- the staff are extremely knowledgeable and experienced, the livestock is of good quality and they have a really good variety of all products. Can't fault them from my experience!

Dropped in as in area. Substantial shop / warehouse with wide selection of tanks, accessories, dry goods, RO water and fish. Lots of cold water and tropical with a more limited range of marines Seems I came on the wrong day as they were expecting a new fish delivery on Thursday, the day after my visit. The guy I spoke with was friendly and helpful d, as a beginner I felt quite welcome. As I said, on a different day they might have a lot more marines so if you fancy a visit, maybe phone to check stock. Or look at their Facebook page.

Got my very first fish tank from Les about 25 years ago?? Still get my fish from him and anything else I may need. Highly recommended. ...and will be popping in again soon for more supplies. Very helpful and great advice when needed too.

The Staff are very helpful, there is everything that you would need for your fish tank, and everything is well priced. I use Jaydee Aquatics often and have always had a good experience there. I would recommend people that are just getting into the hobby to give this shop a visit, you will learn anything that you want to know about looking after fish. by far the best shop I have been to.

I understand that they would want to sell me equipment but they made me feel under no obligation at all. They have helped me ever since every time I call for advice.
