m. w.I had a fantastic retail experience in this shop on Thursday 5th may . I have wanted a pair of Loake brogue shoes for some years and spotted the shop whilst in York . John was very knowledgeable and helpful and described the difference between the shoes . This resulted in me being the proud owner of a pair . It was great to be able try on different pairs and getting advice from a true professional. So much better than buying online .

Nothing was too much trouble and he took the time to explain various aspect of shoe care and future service/repair of the boot. We will absolutely visit again in no small part due to his great attitude. This store will thrive if all the staff are as attentive as Cole.
