E. O.I love this shop! I was very impressed by the wide variety and selection of souvenirs here. There are a lot of items which are cheeky, humorous, beautiful and elegant - all reminiscent of Scotland and Aberdeen in particular. Many of them contain Aberdonian slangs and phrases.
The prices are reasonable, and all the items seem to be of good quality. The store attendant was very polite to me and made me feel welcome in there.
If you're looking for a place to get souvenirs for Scotland and Aberdeen, this is the store for you!

Keychains, journals, aprons and oven mitts, postcards, jewelry, etc cetera very nice quality. Will be returning next time I need a gift to send out.
T. W.Lots of souvenirs but nothing really of note. Must are pretty cheap and cheasy. The better quality stuff has very little selection.
I would skip it myself and had far better luck at shops in small villages or Inverness.

Of course, they have the cheesy and run of the mill souvenirs that you can find in any store in any city ("I love X" and stuff like that). I got one of those for my mom because I know she likes that kind of stuff. But they also have more original, beautiful souvenirs and I got two of those, too. Whatever your taste, I am sure you'll find something for you at the Bothy.

Soo friendly and even gave the kids a couple of Scottish bands (which they've both never taken off since Easter). Love my slate of Scottish sayings and use my coasters every day!

r.Much nicer than tacky souvenir places and this is run by actual Scottish people not carpet baggers. Additionally it's fun to try to say the name with a Scottish accent though it may annoy one's wife.
