During our holiday we looked up fishing shops & discovered this gem of a shop. My sons rod had broken so we were in the market for a new set up. This shop is fantastic, it's packed with a whole array of kit, priced well too however what made our day was the help & advice from the owner who found us exactly what we needed & made my son smile with excitement for the rest of the day. If you are a keen angler and you are going to Aberystwyth you must seek out this shop. It’s a tackle shop that’s the way it should be; a veritable Aladdin’s cave of everything you could possible need for game, sea and coarse fishing, all at competitive prices. Basil is very well informed and has always put us on to good fishing on many visits over the years. I Would very highly recommend.

Gb fishing is the only place I go for my fishing stuff bas really knows his stuff and don't let the size of the shop stop you it's extremely well stocked and if you can't find something just ask bas and the prices are very reasonable as well

Been to GB fishing today and bought a new reel and line and wire trace. Well happy with the price of my goods. There are plenty of new stock coming in every day so I'm always there getting something new as there is so much to choose from each time I go. I stumbled upon GB Fishing quite by accident, and i am very pleased i did. Basil has a warm welcoming air about him, backed up with knowledge gained over years of experience. No question is too trivial and his ability to pass on his knowledge and expertise makes this well stocked shop the place to go.
