As well as a well run shop with knowledgeable friendly staff they are so good with children and special needs children who just want to go in and look or cuddle the animals. I am a support worker and the children I look after love to pop in the shop they are always made welcome and given the experience of stoking and holding and helping to care for the animals so thankyou Debbie and staff it’s is much appreciated.

This little shop feels warm and cosy. Unlike Pets at Home where it's on such a large scale- Barrow Bird and Pet Centre treat you like one of their family. They've got everything you need for your furry little Rodents to products for your pet Birds. Thanks Barrow Bird and Pet Centre

Lovely staff and great care towards the birds and other animals, it's nice and clean and feels very welcoming.Every time I am near here I always pop in with my bestfreind to see my favourite birds and other animals.My best friend also bought a bird from here she named it pebble and it was in great care and good condition and wasnt over priced there are even pictures of the bird on maps.Also the area the birds are in have plenty of food and water and for example the rabbits that are there are nicely looked after like any of the others and have a log and hay to sleep on just like a home for a rabbit should be.I recommend having a look into the shop and if you are considering buying a pet I do belive this is a great place to buy one!
