The Butchers in Bedford Square do the best sausages we have ever had better than the finest range from super markets. Also all the other meats are fantastic value for money and better than the super markets in plastic containers.

Love the butchers here he is the best. excellent service and they have fresh vegetables too. Won't shop for my meat anywhere else hardly any fat in mince sausages etc. Burgers/Ribs for BBQ and Marinades . Great.

Trip to D & I family butchers .. always the best and freshest meat. Their home made sausages are worth the drive from Luton! Lovely local family business 10/10

Like I already said, it is very close to where I live, I often go here, for some of my shopping. D & I BUTCHERS they're meat products are really tasty and succulent.

There's a good range of shops here, including a hardware store, which is a rarity anywhere these days; the "shiny sheds", notably B&Q, have driven out most of the smaller hardware store operators. There are trees and seating too, making this a pleasant place to sit outdoors in our lovely English summers. (Sorry about the sarcasm).

The only good places are Gregg's and the butchers. Sham we cant have a proper little market or something weekly. Not a nice place to visit at night. Quite often got rowdy youths hanging around.

I love Bedford Square it's like a little village all on its own you have a wide selection of shops reasonable prices and nearly all wheelchair friendly. Has a butchers with some different products there homemade options on pies are better than any supermarket. Lovely different meats all fresh also eggs fruit and veg and everyday groceries. Rearly friendly staff. You have the customary do it all takeaway from pizza to kebabs to fish and chips there burgers are huge and cheap. There pizzas made to your specs and cooked I front of you as is all food cheaper than most takeaways and they do free delivery. Next you have a cafe which I. Rearly like when it was a bit of a greasy spoon. Like I had grown up with. Lol. New owners came In about 3 years ago they cleaned it up De orated and brought it up to date there food is good very varied menu with polish option family run very friendly and same as the takeaway would recommend to anyone. There is a craft shop that also does a line of hot drinks and a mini bric a brac stall on a Friday. There is a bookies which all ways seems busy so that speaks for itself there is a Martins newsagents with a post office which I like having spent a few years working for them and managing a few of there shops. A carpet store which seems busy but looks a bit of an eyesore. Age UK have a charity store which I regularly used for books dvds and household items. Rearly good prices and end of the day it's for charity so you don't mind if there is the odd expensive item there is a chemist very well stocked shop side and pharmacy with up to 4 people dispensing. Generally busy. From next to this you have access to the library a modern building with a well stocked library which also sells some deleted books. Poundstretcher is next they are a one stop shop due to how cheap they are you go in there buy so much you either can't afford to go anywhere else or you have got everything you could possibly want. I love this store. You name it they have it. Next is a hairdressers which I'm told is very good although I never used it. I know the staff are very friendly as often spoke to them also had a freind who worked there. Lol there were other shops and services including an estate agency letting office and taxi service upstairs there were other shops upstairs which I cannot speak about as wheelchair bound and could not get up to. The council ran many events within the square like Christmas bazaars and school holiday fun days the people are all freind I found people you did not know would speak to you especially if you were in or around the cafe. I use to sit at a table outside the cafe for a few hours every day and got to know loads of the square people even regularly sitting holding people's dogs whilst they shopped. last but not least there is a hardware shop who has everything any D. I. YER would ever need plus some odds and ends like bb pistols. Models. Computers and associated goods a bit of an open all hours but rearly good and inexpensive

Most things you require when shopping can be found here, an excellent butcher with some good deals, barbers, a post office, cafe, library, DIY shop Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaway and kebab shop, all offering quality food or service. There is also a poundstretcher which has vastly increased its prices ( ie, instead of 3 boxes iboprufren for £1 it's now 1box of 16 for £1). The square has, imo, the cleanest toilets in Bedfordshire in the main building next to the library. Other shops include an undertakers and florists, sharing premises a carpet shop and estate agent. However there is one shop next to said estate agent that is a bit of an enigma, some cheap deals on sweets and such but check expiry dates and seals on cigarette boxes and alcohol, like you would in most corner shops open until 02:00.
Obviously the above is just an impression and everyone has there own impression and opinions which are not statements.

It's okay small square with some well known high street stores. I just popped into the Post Office here as I needed one that was close by to Hougton Regis business park.
