Fantastic range and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and genuine about trying to help you get what fits best for you. Was in with the kids and we were all made to feel welcome, when one of the kids mentioned dragons the guys went out of their way on a busy day to show them some models and chat with them. A fantastic team and fantastic shop, we'll be back next payday 😉

Great staff, always willing to help and offer advice. One of them once told me that their aim is to create happy hobbyists, not unhappy purchases. Gaming tables can be booked in advance with nice terrain etc. Great hobby centre that I've used for 25 and more years.

I phoned to make a query on behalf of my son who is interested in warhammer though just started, I found the staff member who was talking to me polite, friendly, very helpful and intuitive. After a few days my son and I went to the the shop for the purchase queried about and was impressed not that he had been the person I had talked to, but he had actually remembered the conversation. Usually not many members of staff are bothered to talk or particularly help (in other shops). So purchased what we went for and came away with a lot of information. I would have no problem recommending this establishment or even going back and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. If I could give more stars I most certainly would.

Always helpful and the painter guy staff member took the time to go through painting techniques for my renewed painting project. Having worked at GW myself a while back they seem to have dropped the pushy salesmen style to a more friendly helpful way that makes you feel comfortable in the shop. Really friendly staff, I forgot the name of the first guy I talked to who acknowledged me as soon as I walked in and started talking to me in a friendly manner. Hayden then walked me through doing my first miniature which was really enjoyable and then talked me through the sets. Highly recommend going in and do a miniature to see if it's something you'd enjoy. Here's the miniature I did.

Staff know their stuff and are happy to have a chat without constantly upselling. Only "downsides" are that the place is just not big enough to maintain an extensive range (I often order less popular miniatures that aren't new releases) and you can't order Forge World miniatures to this store (though that is common across all Warhammer GW shops AFAIK). Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with game nights, late openings Wed-Thu and free delivery for orders made to store.

Recently when deciding to start warhammer while on holiday I came here to start. The guys there were very helpful and provided a great deal of information to help me get started. A game was going on in the room and the prices were much better than what I used to see on the internet.

If you're any sort of Warhammer enthusiast, you don't need a review to go to a Warhammer shop. But if you're so much as dipping your toes into the world of the Grim and Dark, then this is your one stop, first stop. These folks are seriously knowledgeable and clearly in love with what they're selling. It's called "plastic crack"for a reason. The choices are almost overwhelming, the techniques and styles are whatever you can muster, and the excuses for why I keep buying more minis when I told myself I wouldn't until I finished painting the ones I own already are numerous. If you have any questions about how to paint the figures, just ask. They'll even give you a free in-store tutorial. If you want to learn about the lore? Be careful, they'll keep you with them for years.

Cool store! Great staff. Special shout out to Ciarán, whom without his help and time id have been a bit lost trying to work out all the new paints and so on. It had been a while since I'd last visited the store and,a lot has changed, and not just due to the pandemic. He knew his stuff and happily answered all my daft questions lol. I will definitely be back.
