Always love visiting this store as do my dogs, Dan downstairs is always so pleasant and friendly and helpful and kind and caring he is a true asset to Pets At Home! The ladies in the Groom Room are so kind and helpful and caring Lulu especially cannot wait to get inside to see her friends . Louise and Akira are wonderful, Louise is always so pleasant and friendly and helpful, and Akira is so bubbly and happy she never fails to make us smile ☺ Charlie and Chloe are quite nervous and cannot settle anywhere else but here they are happy and relaxed. Lulu just loves it there and she pulls and tugs and barks when she knows she is going to see her friends and they always looks so lovely and smell gorgeous! We won't go anywhere else. Love pets at home but a shame they have stopped selling this Chinchilla wooden house was great. The ones in place are not suitable for Chinchilla's. There choice of food/treats is also not as good, all pets at home seem to be not any good any more.

Great variety of products on offer for all your pet needs. We went for the their Tropical Fish selection and Reptile products. The till location is in a sill location right at the front of the shop with little room to maneuver.

Really nice team, carry stuff to your car for you. My Boris loves coming here, he gets to hang out with all the staff. Very knowledgeable. Well stocked. Very friendly. Miss Charlie. This is my first choice. Richard will help you out with anything you need, so much advice. Feel relaxed here and I suffer with social anxiety. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

We had bought 2 further rats to add to 2 we already had, which unfortunately turned out to be girls..long story short we went from 4 to 18 within 6 weeks. Pets at home were great and planned to take them off us, however Covid hit making this impossible for them. Throughout it they were incredibly supportive and helpful, with the store manager Myron being fantastic with us. Our babies are now with them and looking great (even if I am bias!). Thank you so much Pets at Home, I cant thank or rate you highly enough

I recently came to this store to exchange a harness for my dog. I don't usually bring my dog with me, but did this time. She was very well received and enjoyed the fuss. My daughter ditched me to watch the little fluffy creatures be fed and cleaned out. The staff doing that task were lovely with her and got her to help. She hasn't stopped taking about it all week. I got everything I needed a very good visit thank you.

Just been to buy 2 male rats as one of my two existing rats died & you don't keep a social animal like a rat alone. The level of service was top-notch. Jess had some trouble getting the rats out as they weren't used to being handled yet and ran away from her hands, but she prevailed with perseverance, and soon we had 2 wee lads in a green tub ready for inspection. She took us through a full health check on each rat, and went through a checklist of things to do to ensure they were happy and comfortable. Getting them boxed up was quite an entertaining challenge. As soon as they saw the box they were like "nope!", but again, patience and persistence paid off. That said, by the time I was walking out of the shop, the little guys were already looking their heads out through holes in the box. So, top marks to Jess and her colleagues, who looked after me throughout. Great customer service.

Great place for pet owners. Only thing that I didn't like was a quite low selection of puppy foods. Especially if you want to get something different than chicken which is the main ingredient in most of foods. Prices are not the lowest on the market but anyways it's worth to pop in and look around. You will definitely find something for your pet.

Went to the fish section to buy some tropical fish. Bought a red tail shark, three angel fish and two orange gouramis. I since had a problem with one of the gouramis who kept chasing the other one all the time. Store would not refund me for returning this gourami. I advise that anyone buying multiple fish observe how the fish behave towards each other in the store's aquarium before selecting them. Best to get ones that are swimming happily close together and are of similar size and colour (a stronger colour indicates dominance). Or, simply ask the assistant to select ones that are peaceful together. I made the mistake of selecting two gouramis at opposite ends of the fish tank. They obviously hated each other. Service was excellent though. The lady at the aquarium section had a very good knowledge of fish. It seems many of them are fish keepers themselves which helps a lot.
