Very pleased with this place as the staff are very helpful and friendly, I brought the wrong food for my puppy and went back today and Jane and another lady were so helpful plus they changed the food without question knowing I'm on a low income which saved me! Plus my little fur baby "Indigo" just loves going here and getting treats and fuss from all the staff 🐕♥️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👌💯

Very helpful gentleman behind the counter, we've had the pets at home VIP card for 7 years use it every time we go in but all the discounts we get are never relevant, went in yesterday as we originally went to PAH Stechford but they didn't have the product we need for our new puppy, got chatting to the man and he informed us if we download the app we will get better offers and a few puppy freebies so when I got home I downloaded the app and yes all the offers came in that would be helpful with outlr new puppy, hopefully now we will also get discounts for our 7 y/o Cocker Spanial as we buy all his food and toys from this store. Shope is large, clean, spacious and well stocked, had a price reduction on the puppy food we needed so was more than satisfied with this visit

Went to few pet shops today , wasn’t very happy with the advice that was given today , but then went to sheldon pets at home and met a lovely guy called gordon. He was so amazing and very helpful. We ended up adopting a little dwarf hamster called bubbles. Gordon explained every so well we instantly decide to adopt bubbles … thanks gordon for all your help, and don’t worry bubbles is in good hands 🙃

Fab staff, were great with recommending fish that would love happily together and what we'd need. All the fish are happy, healthy and doing well... The guppies are incredibly colourful, constantly moving and make for a lively aquarium. We brought a Molly fish that the assistant mentioned might be pregnant, she popped out a few babies a week ago and they are doing well. It was a good thing we had a big tank :) All in all a lovely experience and we are enjoying the new additions!

We went in to buy dog food and was given some great advice (I wish I'd have taken his name) he spent about 5 minutes with us explaining the merits of different foods for our dog with tummy troubles. Great service and everything you could want in the way of merchandise.

We’re do I start I came in on Saturday 12th June has I needed to get a few things for my breaded dragon . I made a few trips has I didn’t get the rights things and the staff were so lovely and helpful . The Manager who was on shift that day went way beyond for me . I can’t thank her enough . I went in for some claw clippers and the really friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me with my weird query in that they were for a chicken. They managed to find me exactly what I was after and it was even half price. Great selection and competitively priced. Even the car parking was easy.

We go every month for big bags of food for our 4 cats. We sometimes take one of them with us as he loves being on the harness and loves meeting people. Some of the staff recognise Loki by name now and always love to see him. I do wish they would do bags of food as big as they do for dogs though.

Good selection of dry, wet and frozen goods and accessories for all commonly kept pets. Access to multiple preventative and treatment options, grooming necessities, training tools and toys. The aquatic selection boasts a variety of species and everything you might need to house and keep them, much the same as their small mammal area. They also offer the option of adopting a previously owned pet, these animals are vetted and information provided about their specialist needs (if any), diet and living arrangements needed to comfortably house the individual(assuming it is different to the standard care for the species). The shop has ample free parking out front and is located just off the main road for ease of access. Cash and cars available. * Don't expect a huge amount of knowledge from the staff, they are sales assistants before trained animal experts, they will likely know the basics, but your vet will better know the in depth needs of your animal, esspecially if you keep exotics.

Friendly staff. Sadly the selection of tropical fish is boring and uninspiring, but this is true for all PetsAtHomes I've visited. If you are looking to get basic pet supplies, cat food, toys for your dog or a guppy for your kid, this place will do just fine.
