S. A.Really difficult to rate!! As a middle-age man, it's a 1 or 2 out of five!! Annoying staff with incredibly expensive bears and clothes for bears!!
However, if I'm rating for how happy my kids were, it's a four.
Expect to get absolutely rinsed by your offspring unless you're completely heartless and say no to all their demands for beating hearts, smelly bears and passports for cuddly toys!!
r. L.Went for my 5 year olds birthday. she absolutely loved it. although very expensive (as she did not want the birthday bear) but she hasn't stopped carrying around her Teddy (bunny) since.
D. J.Great place for anyone to go, for young kids to celebrate birthday, or adults/teens to go on dates. I had an amazing time there and the staff are awesome too.

U.Both staff in the store were absolutely amazing this morning brilliant customer service and really helpful with calming my son from running around the place 🤣only knocked off a star as I spent alot of money and know I'll end up spending more as the clothing for the bears are a little expensive.

The staff were very friendly. Especially Annibelle who served us. She made a whole lot of love go into those bears!!
Definitely recommend going here especially on a special occasion as the whole shop announced and sang happy birthday to a little girl who popped in on her birthday.

R. W.Absolutely brilliant hour or so for the kids. The staff actually look like they enjoy their job and are fantastic with the kids. I believe the 2 that were working were called Jess and Louisa at the Bournemouth store and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable for my daughter, and for us as parents. Only thing I would knock is the price; not of the actual bear, but the accessories and clothing. Being a build a bear newbie, I was unaware how much these items equated to. I spent £60 on 2 bears (there was an offer for a cheaper second bear) but about £32 of that was on shoes, jumpers and a couple of outfits, birth certificate and carry bag. The bears are very well made and look relatively child proof! However, given the exemplary customer service which evidently lacks in most shops nowadays and service with a smile, and such polite staff- I'm happy to stomach this one, and dare say would do it all again
