Lovely to see a place like this alive and well, good mix of DVDs available to rent and purchase at really reasonable prices, new and old titles. We rented four DVDs for a week and are excited to watch. Staff was lovely and both myself and my daughter enjoyed picking out films to watch. A place to be cherished now similar establishments that were a sign of my childhood have long since disappeared. Do support this local gem if you have a chance, it's worth it!

As far as I am aware, this is the only DVD/Blu-ray rental shop in Bournemouth..? For that, in itself, deserves 4 stars. I currently don't have the internet where I live (new-build), and was going through 10 GB of mobile data in a space of a few days. When I was reminded of Flicks, I instantly went to visit, and I was so pleased to find a whole host of films to rent. The latest films are £3.50 per night, but if you rent two new releases, then you get them for a total of only £5 and for two nights. All other movies are £1 for an entire week! They do have a good selection of Blu-ray movies, but I would still love to see more. Their drinks/sweets selection is awesome, and their customer service is always friendly/helpful. Long live Flicks!

Flicks Charminster is definitely the place to go!! Constantly keeping up to date with all the new films coming out. Cheaper than sky for renting films. Flicks is also a vaping shop. I buy my bits from there. Coils, tanks, batteries and liquid. The owner is a great person to talk to. Perfect customer services, and a friendly atmosphere! The store has also had some work done to it recently so go check it out.

One of the few remaining places you can rent DVDs and Blurays. Fantastic little shop with a vast selection. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Usually cheaper than renting online too! Love this place!

I love the place. I know you can get stuff over the internet but it just doesn't feel the same as going to your local flicks and getting a film. Nostalgia I guess. Plus you see something you haven't thought of and the staff can tell you what is good to watch.

Great selection of films from the newest to some of the classics. DVD blu ray and 3D Even got teal movie pop corn and American drinks. Well worth a visit.
