A. L.My boyfriend and I visited this store as I knew a school friend who works here, and we had the best time! We were looking to buy a chameleon in the future and we ended up staying for an hour just admiring the snakes, tortoises and fish! We were so saddened to hear of Big Dan's passing, but we knew the staff did everything they could as ALL animals were well looked after! There was a tortoise on his back in his enclosure, but we notified the staff and they kindly told us that they did it all the time and it's good for the tortoise to learn by itself, as it wouldn't have help in the wild! No mistreated animals or fish at all at this shop, honestly think some of these reviews are just ignorant, please visit if you come down to boscombe some time!

G. M.Very informative and the owner is so lovely and helpful. He also let my daughter and I hold a lizard and my daughter held a snake. Prices are decent, animals are in good health.

W.The plants I buy for my goldfish tank are very good value at 3 for £5, I used to pay £4.50 each for straggly plants at a large garden centre (in Bromley) These plants are very bushy and I keep the spare ones in water until needed, they last very well. Staff are knowledgeable and I'm amending my review because today the two members of staff were very chatty. The plant in the photo has been in with my fantail for 4 days, he loves pecking at it.

R. H.The staff at this store are absolutely wonderful! They know their stuff and take best possible care of the animals in there. The animals are healthy and happy and that is what matters in my opinion, so the people who don't know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise and don't have a lot of education on either of them, need to stick to drawing on people for a living and leave these magnificent people alone to work in the area they are qualified to. Couldn't recommend this store more. 100% check it out, but please remember that if you don't have a good knowledge on the animals in there don't come on the internet being mean and ask the staff maybe why it's happening or any questions you have about the animals as they will be more than happy to answer any questions and will help out any way they can <3
J.Unfortunately I never did manage to buy that frilled lizard in the end thanks to my d-head of a landlord, but the staff were all very friendly and well informed. Safe to say the only place worth visiting in Boscombe!!!
