C. H.This is a handy place to pick up inexpensive preowned furniture and electrics. Since it is stocked with mostly donated items, the quality is a little variable, but for the most part they only display the good quality stuff.
Consider using their delivery service. It is very good. You may not get same day delivery if they have a lot on, but it’s never more than a day or two. When you buy, you will be asked if you would consider Gift Aid - paying the tax on your item so that more money goes to the charity. But the staff will not push you to do so or judge you if you do not. On the inexpensive items you are buying, this is usually only a pound or so anyway.
Consider donating your own old stuff to this charity too. It is a good cause and they collect.
