Staff were helpful and it's good to be able to buy MTG singles from a local store. I did find that the prices offered were astronomically low both for MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh, offered 20% of eBay prices. Booster boxers also 20% higher than somewhere like Amazon. I'll visit for the occasional single and set pack as I appreciate the costs involved with running a game store and like to support them but overall much cheaper to go online and buy products elsewhere.

This was my first time selling MTG singles, and it was a great experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the amount they offered me were great. The shop itself has an amazing collection of singles, but also packs and boxes. In fact, with the amount they offered me, I managed to buy a box of time spiral remastered for a banging price 😆👌 will definitely be back both for selling AND buying.

nothing but good experiences here. I am predominantly a magic player so I do not know some of the other aspects of the store but the staff are all friendly and inviting and the store is more welcoming to newer players. events like the commander evening are free and open to anyone. The best experience in Bristol for magic in my opinion.

Visited here due to Retro Do-Do on Instagram and YouTube. It didn't disappoint, a reasonable selection of retro games. Plenty of geek culture merchandise. Tons of pokemon cards for sale. They apparently do better trading deals for games than CEX so that's a plus. The game I brought B.O.B for Megadrive was reasonably priced compared with ebay average sold listings price. The price does change due to manual missing or present. Shame that I don't live in Bristol as I would visit here allot. They also host some card game tournaments from what I read if your into that, not sure now due to covid. The young lady that served me was pretty knowledgeable in general about the gaming atmosphere. Would visit again if I am in Bristol.

They are Ok, staff is really nice, However I had one bad experience with a staff member, I brought Pokemon Sapphire for my partner, And the Pokemon sapphire was priced £10, The staff member complained and she said why isn't it higher, it should be £25 and so and so, But I still managed to get it for £10, However got back to my partners house and my partner tested the game, Played it for about 10 minutes, game crashed didn't load. So we opened it, there was dirt inside of the cartridge and it wasn't removable. So I took it back and explained, No wonder why it was so cheap.

This is a hidden gem. Love coming to this shop. Retro goodies from your childhood plus they also do card games and host events. Really friendly and helpful. If you're into card games or retro games etc this is a must to visit.

Not what it once was. I visited this shop through-out 2016,17 and 18 and it had a massive Retro Game selection. Now it has slimmed down and the emphasis is very much on Card Games and Smash Bros tournaments. A shame but a sign of how a lot of Retro Focussed Game Shops are going.

hi my name is sam i was in 8bit shop for a litte bit but then tom was bullying me from sam and the outh pepole who work ther to from sam then he put and then he put the new kid on how work ther to and he was bullying me as well from sam when i was not on the shop he bullying me out on the street in bristol town from sam tom and the outh staff was tom was very very rude to me from sam and the outh staff from sam i am not a bullying i go to church ever once a week from sam but 8bit shop is a bullying from sam so how ever go in ther do not go in ther on your own from sam it a bad place from sam the young kid who work ther is a bullying to from sam i dont no him but he as bin spred lie about me from sam to he work staff and it all lies from sam so who ever gos in ther dont go in ther bay your self go in ther with friends or family from sam or with the police from sam so god bless to ever one who read this review from sam and pace out from sam ps dont trust tom he will rip you of with your stuff from sam go to mt games in westen super mare or cex ther give you better money for your stuff from sam god bless and pace out from sam and thack you to all who read this from sam pace out and god bless from sam o one more thin go to pink planet games exchange as well from sam god bless and thack you
