What an ‘Aladdins cave’ ! Items were indeed ready for me and had a chat with a very nice lady who’s son now runs the shop. Will definitely visit again when possible. A real find.

J. W.I remember going here as a kid in the late 90s, and I ordered Hornby spares from them recently. It's great to see that a traditional old business like this still going. They stock a large number of spares as well as providing useful information online such as service sheets, so you can see that they want to provide a service to the enthusiast rather than just act as a trader.

M.The website seemed great, but rather disappointed with the shop and staff. Shop window had some very faded boxes in it, the shop had nothing much on display to look at, and the guy behind the counter seemed not to want my business!

D.Model shop. Seem to specialise in trains, but a very decent selection of smaller scale plastic aeroplane kits, mostly Airfix & Revell. Plenty of 1/72 and 1/48, with a smattering of HUGE 1/24 Airfix! Good selection of paints, thinners & clears from Tamiya, Humbrol & Revell. Service is good and, as long as you are not in a rush, whatever you want can be had, either from the magic storeroom or by ordering.

M. W.One of the last independent you shops in Cardiff. They do repairs on Hornby trains which is not something you find in big chain stores. Very reasonably priced repairs too.
