Hugely extensive back issues plus all the latest comics. The owner, Michael is more than happy to answer any questions. You can often find him in deep conversation with his customers. Can't recommend this store enough.

Fully appreciate times are difficult especially for independent stores but books took 5 weeks to arrive. It wouldn't be an issue had store simply responded to emails or telephone calls to store. Became quite frustrating not knowing if and when books would turn up. However books were well packaged.

Finally had the chance to visit the store with my wife. Gentlemen behind the counter was great and greeted us well. Offered my wife a chair to sit while I browsed around and was even having a laugh with us. Definitely recommend this shop. Side note- I was also lucky enough to walk away with a New Mutants #87 in great condition for a very reasonable price!

I've always enjoyed coming to The Comic Guru. There can't be a more fitting name for the store. The owner, Christian, knows just about everything you'd ever need to know about comic books and will always have something to say about whatever you pick up. Coming to the Comic Guru is a personable experience. The store layout may seem a little overwhelming because of just how much is in stock, but if you don't mind a little chaos, you'll thrive here.

Very hardworking and helpful owner! I made a big international order (Greece) and there was no problem at all! We even spoke on the phone and he was glad to help me change the delivery address of my order because of an issue i was facing! Recommend 100%

I'm surprised at the bad reviews of this place, they're describing a completely different shop to me. I've been going for a few months now and always have a pleasant time there. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. They have a fairly good stock of comic books, all of which are in tip-top condition. Great customer service. They always help me find which comic book I'm looking for. I'd definitely recommend going there.

I am receiving a lot of negative reviews from people who clearly have never shopped with me. All I can assume is that other shops or online sellers are deciding to get the boot in as they see me as their competition. Totally pointless. The most recent one beggars belief.

Great selection for the size of shop. As is usual with this style of shop the person manning the fort was well informed about the products available. They didn't have what I was after on this occasion but plenty to look at and wish I could justify buying.

I've only been here a few times but everytime I am there I always leave with a positive feel, the owner REALLY knows his stuff and it always happy to help you locate a certain comic if you ask. Really down to earth guy and like I said, REALLY knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is either starting their collection or is looking to expand it.

First of all before i do my review i would just like to say I am extremely shocked by the bad reviews!?!?! I have been going to the Guru for over a year now and just as one of the negative reviewers has stated, I also regularly take my sister (23 yrs old with aspergers syndrome and ADHD). We have never experienced any difficulties, in fact the staff are always very pleasant and well manored towards us both. even when my sister bombards them with the same questions repeatedly. lol. The comics i recieve are always in tip top condition and the customer service is fantastic in my opinion. Very friendly bunch. My only bad point is that the store keeps taking my money from me. great place, glad i found

Good stuff but a mess and overpriced. I took a comic to the till and it scanned at ten pounds instead of the advertised three! Also, the guy behind the till was dressed as a power ranger when I went in, which was a bit creepy.
