Reviews of Albert Sloman Library
J. Q.Today I asked if i could book a study room by approaching the front desk. Jan was incredibly helpful with a lot of information about it. She referred me to the library website, which has so much helpful information on studies and what is available at the library. I especially recommend coming here in the mornings on a sunny day because the view is great and you don't feel like you're hiding away indoors. The library has been a little quiet since the pandemic, so if you're looking for study space, it is perfect right now.
K. S.Great resources and there are enough spaces to study although that can be limited during exam period.
The library is open 24hrs during exams (after the Easter break until June).
The library also has one of the very few paternosters in the UK.
One of the annoying thing about the library though is the lack of plugs. So whenever you would want to study there you can expect the waste 30min going up and down each floor of the library to find an empty plug and spot to sit in.
