A. P.This is a lovely wool shop really bright and colourful like a breath of fresh air. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming and friendly and very knowledgeable about the yarns they sell. I recommend this shop to everyone who loves knitting and crocheting. Beautiful yarns that are irresistible.
M. N.I visited NANNA'S on Friday, Oct 16, and took a beginner's class in Crochet ~ what a great experience.
All of the NANNA'S staff led by owner Fiona were extremely friendly and helpful. I was settled in with the offer of a 'brew' and then 'TOOLED UP' with the right wool for my starter project. This was very helpful to me as there were so many gorgeous yarns to choose from that I could have easily got caught up with just admiring the colours!
Our tutor on the day was Karen Blake. I easily could see why she was chosen by Nanna's as she is a knowledgeable teacher and has the patience of a saint. She keeps her eye on what each student is doing and is quick to help where needed.
For my money, I can say that Nanna's is the best little find in Colchester ~ Needless to say that I have booked another session!

I started looking for need ideas, to keep my fingers busy and too have less screen time, all the staff at Nanna definitely helped sort me out. Before covid restrictions, they set me up with a great ladis Fiona and Hayley,she helped me learn how to start up, never pressured me or rushed me.. worked at my pace. And the rest is history. All through .1, .2, .3 lockdowns they have provided me with everything and more!! Even helpful clicks to learn more!! Thank you so much!! Can't wait to come back and see you all for a chat and knit when aloud! X

You and your staff are so lovely, helpful and caring. I could spend all day just in the shop talking to you all, looking at yarns n patterns and knitting.

K. L.My favourite place! Nannas are very nice, friendly and willing to help and give advice on your projects. They have also the most beautiful yarn and provide crafty lessons. ❤️
