Staff are lovely as is the fish they sell. Always support your local shops and this one especially. You will not be disappointed! The fish is always so fresh and believe me it beats the local supermarkets. Go and see for yourself.

Called into Little Fish Shop in Keveldon this morning & found the most well stocked small shop ever. Fish looked in top condition, very fresh, lovely clean well laid out premises & the friendliest staff. Thank you!!

I'm giving this shop a 5 star rating, as the fresh fish and the butchers are both very good. However, I bought 2 tubs of what was clearly labelled as Crab Flake with Prawn and Mayonnaise, at £6 a tub, only to get home and read the extremely small ingredients list to find out it wasn't crab at all, but cheap surimi fish, otherwise called "crab sticks". Sorry, but I don't consider it unreasonable to expect that something labelled as Crab, from a high end fishmongers, should contain crab.

Best quality fishmonger in North Essex. High quality fish (trust me, I used to be a sushi chef🍣), great customer service and they now have a butchery in the shop too! Although I'm yet to try the meat it looks top quality and local produce. Well worth a trip to their shop.

This is a real gem of a shop , both fish and meat are incredible! So fresh!! What I love about the little fish shop is the service , it is exactly what you want from a local business. I order a lot of boneless chicken thighs for my tandoor and other butchers didn’t want the hassle but it’s a never a trouble here, I would advise pre ordering especially in this time of lockdown as the produce disappears quickly as it’s so good . I am a keen chef and I can’t fault anything I’ve ever had from here . Well done to all involved Simon Houlding
