Used to be better than what it is now. Have to keep an eye on the prices at the checkout as it doesn't always give the price that was on the shelf. I personally prefer home bargains for personal and cleaning products.

Super staff......mostly. one lady who we asked for help, did help but made us feel like a nuisance, she appeared very put out and rather sarcastic. She called for a manager to meet us by the delivery gates to collect an item and a different service again, he was smashing and so helpful, returned the next day to collect the extra large item and another member of staff to guide us back round to the delivery, again they were really lovely too. Have to get in there quick, I brushed by the wall ornaments for our bland looking garden fence thinking I'll pick them up at my next visit, how wrong I was - all gone and was only easter time.

Place was rather crowded when we got in the shop. That was nothing compared to the chaos trying to get out. The queue stretched from inside the garden centre to the tills. We're great fans of B & M and haven't seen this in other stores. We'll be sticking to our usual shops in future.

Lots of household items, ornaments, bathroom, pots & pans, DIY, small outdoor garden centre, food cupboard fillers, some nice pieces of furniture, well worth a visit although on food items I found were priced higher than general supermarkets but still some bargains to be found.

There is a surprisingly large range of stuff on sale at very competitive prices. However, it tends to be pretty busy and there tend to be long and relatively slow moving queues at the tills. Good for a bargain if you not in a hurry.

Lots of staff on checkouts, so didn't spend ages queuing. Several of the trollies were stuck together which caused a bit of a problem. But store was clean, most people had masks and followed current restrictions. Git much busier as we were leaving at about 14:00.

Huge place, jam packed with many different products.The layout can be confusing as it is quite random. The service is really friendly and helpful ,but if you're in there for a quick shop you may find it a longer than you hoped for. It also gets really hot in there ,so it would be beneficial for everyone if they were to install a better air conditioning system.

I'm a massive fan of B&M stores =D but do find that the managers/supervisors here don't offer you much when it comes to good customer service, I found a item I loved but there was one left but wasn't looking 100% but I thought I would be able to fix issue considering I got a discount, took it to the tills and lady at till was telling me I would definitely get a discount on this item but a manager to come and basically offer next to note of the item =O no thanks

Great place to shop , you can get almost everything you need here plus more, it's a real Aladdins cave. The staff are friendly and helpful. My best buy this year from this store is a beautiful white orchid purchased in january for 3.95. It's still flowering in May .Bargain .

I love this store! But as like other b&m stores, I always seem to get overcharged-I have many times seen a good offer priced on the shelves and then when I go to pay for it I get overcharged, many times I don’t even notice till I get home 🙈 so just bare that in mind. It happened again the other day, but I i didn’t realise till I got in the car and I most definitely wasn’t willing to queue again to get in!

I hadn't realised B & M had garden centres. So we paid a visit to the Spondon branch. We were very impressed, it's much bigger than our Beeston branch, with different things on offer. Although we bought several items our main reason for going was to get a water butt for our garden. They were available for a great price, so very pleased with our visit. Now we know it has the garden centre we will be visiting more often and would certainly recommend.

Great shop with a wide array of goods from foot and drink, homewares, electrical items, things for the garden (these seem in short supply this year, a good selection of decorating supplies and tools and a small but well stocked outdoor garden centre. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the shop is always kept clean and tidy.

Called by chance in Jan 2020 and found a superb garden bench on a huge discounted price. Only drawback was it needed dismantling to put in my car. Store manager could not have been more helpful. He fetched tools to dismantle it, pushed it to the checkout and loaded into my car. Thanks mate! Someone who really knows how to serve customers. Well done B&M!!!

B & M Derby. This was my first visit to this store tucked away just outside Derby at Spondon and just off the A52 Brian Clough Way (Derby bound). The store had a great selection of goods and staff helpful. Large free car park at front of store. Did not visit the garden section so cannot comment on it. Note: Burger van in top corner of car park serve good burgers.

I think this well hidden store (in the old Spondon B&Q site) must be one of the biggest B&Ms in the East Midlands with. Much bigger range than my local store in Beeston. The usual B&M value and on my visit there was less checkout queuing than in some of the smaller stores. Just a bit off the beaten track.
