Great shop, they are well laid out. Lots of great products (not including the live bugs corner) ewwww, we used the dog wash after getting a token from counter. The buckets of dog treats by the door are a great target sorry !! Our spaniel made a bee line for them and "tidied" things up a little

Very good advice from the young lady as our rescue dogs food was dried food which we have used since we have got her which was burns complete . She has not got many teeth and she was reluctant to eat the dried food. The advice was from kennalgate was to mix Burns wet food in with the dried food which she got from the back. We didn't realize that Burns also do wet food, s o hopefully she will get her appetite back. Many thanks young lady

I use this place a lot, for reptile and dog food. I have stopped going midweek because of one of the staff. There is no acknowledgement, no please, no thank you. Its a shame, because the rest of the staff are brilliant and helpful.

Shopped here a few times with no problems, but what really impressed me was when I went to them for a bit of help. On my way home from work, I found a baby mouse on the cold path barely moving, I scooped it up and placed it into my glove for warmth, i wasn't far from the pet shop, so nipped in with it to ask on what to do as I had nothing to care for it plus own a cat. The girls in there where fantastic and 1 of them just happened to take in small rescue animals, they found it a small per carrier and bedding from the shop and placed it inside which it made itself comfortable. The mouse is doing great at the girls home address along with her other pet mice. Thank you for helping me save a Little life. 👍

Well, our dog Nelson, woukd have a field day it's a doggy aldi....!@! Went for dog food came out unable to carry what we'd purchased and another dog whistle.why do I need 2 ? I don't know myself. Great new display cabinets making it easier to view goods. The dog treats sre awesome, and a great variety too. You have a pet, give them a go xxx

When asking any advice regarding my pets the staff were very friendly and helpful. The self dog washing section is worth the money and kept very clean and if anything is needed to make the dog washing task any easier the staff are always at hand.

I went in for horse wormers as it was bought up when I googled it.... I asked in the shop and was told that the manager wasn't in, the sales advisor and the assistant manager didn't have access to the locked draw so wasn't able to answer the question. I asked, "so you sell horse wormers?" I was told that as only a sales advisor she wasn't allowed to answer that question! I'm not allowed to say, the manager is the only one who orders and deals with it so I'm sorry but I can't help you! Puzzled, I asked if there is a locked draw and product has been ordered, therefore there must be be stock to buy? "I'm sorry I'm not allowed to answer any questions!" Really confused at this point, so you don't sell horse wormers? At this point the lady smiled politely and walked off! However there was a wide range of other pets goods and products!

We use kennel gate on rare occasions that pets at home don't have hoppers and nice/ rats. It's an ok little shop to have as a back up when pets at home are out of stock. This branch has a groom room at the back where you can shower blow dry and groom your 4 legged furbabies
