Amazing customer service.. exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.
Completely new and naive about owning any pets other than dogs and fish, my daughter was desperate for a lizard. The ladies talked me through my options and I am so glad they did, in the end we purchased a blue tongue skink on their excellent recommendation.. now my daughter has a new best friend.
I cannot recommend these enough.. thanks guys

Caters for your pets needs. Had pet bedding, cages, food , toys and reptile supplies. Had rabbits and guinea pigs for sale they had plenty of space and things to occupy them. Well stocked and looked clean

What a gem of a find, initially went to Markham grange garden centre a few years ago and discovered they have a pet centre just next door. They have an amazing selection of reptiles, spiders, birds and parrots. We have two of our little ones from there. What I love about the pet centre is you can tell just how much they afore the animals and check before you purchase that you have researched about your chosen pet and that you have all the things you would need to the car for them correctly.

The pet centre has well cared for exotic pets, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; we got some giant African land snails and stick insects and they’re doing very well.

My husband and I have been visiting this pet centre for many years, mainly because we have birds, and we go to see their array of birds and purchase a toy or two for our feathered family members.
The staff are always helpful, with one in particular (apologies for forgetting his name) who is very knowledgeable on many bird species and their husbandry. The centre is predominantly bird orientated, with a good supply of hand-reared parrot species, aviary-reared parakeets and finches (to name a few), plus a wide range of food and equipment.
Having waxed lyrical about the bird side of the centre, there is also a decent supply of furry friends (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc.) and an array of equipment.
Aside from the main pet centre is a compact but excellent reptile room, also with knowledgeable staff. There are various healthy specimens of sub-adult and adult reptiles and invertebrates, plus newly hatched or very young, and all the appropriate equipment. I have to commend all the Markham Grange Pet Centre staff for promoting the best standard of care for their animals sold, from the correct enclosure, substrate, enrichment equipment, food and treats. I emphasise that this advice goes beyond product sales and comes purely from concern for the animal's happy and healthy life.
My only very minor criticism is that, as a wheelchair user, it can be a little cluttered, making having a good look round a bit of an obstacle course but that only mildly takes away some of the enjoyment of our visits.

Good range of small animals and supplies, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent pet shop.

A neat little centre for all your pet needs, including food, bedding, toys and various other commodities. Clean and tidy with very helpful staff and a great selection of what you need for your pets, big and small. Massive car park with plenty of spaces and some disabled spots as well. Situated right next door to the garden centre but in its own building with clean modern toilets only yards away. Well worth a visit to both places. The entrance to the garden centre is further down the car park but you can get straight into the pet centre at the top of the car park entrance as you pull through the main gate and it's on your left.

My favourite pet shop. Bought a bearded dragon and 2 budgies from there as well, I'm obsessed with reptiles so I just go and look at all of them sometimes as they have loads! (They also have small animals like rabbits, hamsters, rats etc.)

Amazing place with something for everyone and healthy plants galore.
All pets looked healthy and well cared for in clean conditions.
Only draw back for me was a live singer in restaurant, just too loud when having a bite to eat and a chat with family. Will definitely go again but avoid the restaurant but that's just my personal preference.

They have a decent selection of reptiles and more select species. I bought my tortoise from here in 2007 and he's loving life. Always buy my substrate and calcium dust from here. My only problem is that they had a tarantula on the till desk and, like many other people, I'm aracnaphobic. I don't think it's fair to have such creatures in an area that has to be used by all customers. There's a section full of them which I am able to avoid without a problem, but at the till isn't fair.
