Great for characterful cards and little gifts. Sometimes they have fresh flowers and plants, and the sister shop across the road House is equally stuffed with interesting things. Always a bit unusual but not too expensive, it’s a great shop to have on our doorstep. My wife can spend hours (and money) here……

I had eyed up Cloud 9's gorgeous array of flowers and foliage for a long time since moving to the area and so I decided they would be the perfect local store for my wedding flowers. On the morning of my micro wedding, I went and looked at what they had and after asking a lovely team member if they had any more flowers coming in that day as I was looking for my wedding, she went above and beyond in showing me their full selection and creating two beautiful bunches (I chose lavender, to calm my nerves, and white roses). I didn't catch her name but it was such a lovely experience that set up my wedding day on such a positive note!

Very cute place to browse. They have a nice selection of cards and small presents. They also have a a very tempting display of plants and flowers. Also generally are very friendly! Once here I was offered a sweet from a tin of celebrations. Anyway, so pleased they're open again!

Great little gift and plant shop. They sell a little of everything, great place to go if you need a present or a card for someone. It's not a big place, so can be a wait sometimes to get in or get served

Some lovely gifts here. Pretty plant pots, attractive modern costume jewelry and a good range of plants and flowers. Very polite and helpful assistants also.

I love this little shop & it's sister Home. Cloud 9 is my go to for cards, gifts & plants. Great pieces & displayed so well & at really affordable prices. The staff are all amazing & always helpful. Lovely to see the shop back open & feel safe everytime I visit as masks & distancing policies are definitely in place & the shop has been reworked to allow for extra room.

One of our favourite shops in Edinburgh. Great selection of plants, gifts, jewellery and household decorative items. Ideal place to pick up a unique present for someone. Everything seems to be high quality and for a reasonable price. The staff are all really nice and the owner takes the time to talk to you. Another one of those shops that gives the area more of a personal community feel.

Lovely quirky little store - loads of unique items and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a capacity limit of 4 people due to social distancing so it's nice to have a browse without the store being busy.

I went to buy some potted plants and was pleasantly surprised with how cute the store was. Lots of nice little gift ideas, and plenty of plants and pots to pick from. The shopkeeper/owner was very nice and patient with me, helped me pick out some nice plants and gave me advice on how to care for them. Lovely and helpful, definitely recommend checking this store out if you are wanting plants or a nice gift for a loved one.

Cloud 9 is my go to shop when needing to treat someone to a unique and thoughtful gift. More often than not I end up treating myself too! The staff are always so helpful but definitely not pushy. The owner Alan is tentative and patient and goes above and beyond for his customers. I have to send in photos of my bathroom so he can help me choose colour and decor. You don't get service like that on the high street.

Wow! I just got a bouquet of flowers as a gift from my lovely team at work and I can honestly say it's the most beautiful bouquet I've ever received. The colours are subtle and the flowers unique and beautiful. It has a real vintage look to it but utterly contemporary. I will definitely shop here myself.

I recently complained to my boyfriend that customer service in the UK is just not up to par compared to the US but Cloud 9 is an obvious exception. I stopped in recently looking for a gold bracelet for an upcoming charity dinner. I live in the area and didn’t want to hike all the up to Princes Street. I not only found the perfect bracelet but it was surprisingly affordable! The young woman working in the shop at the time was so enthusiastic and kind. She helped me pick it out, wanted to hear all about my upcoming occasion and really made me feel genuinely special. The store might be small but everything in there is so cute! I wanted to buy it all up. I will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Cloud 9 is one of my favourite shops on Easter Rd. It sells a range of plants, candles, bathroom items, unique gifts, cards, rugs and crafts by local designers. The owner has done a huge amount to promote local charities and support other small businesses - contributing to growth of the Easter Rd community. If you want to shop at an ethical business that uses locally sourced products, I recommend Cloud 9.

My go to local shop for gifts, very nice scented candles.

All sorts of curios, small gifts, and succulents. An emphasis on small-name brands and hip, bohemian-esc style is reflected in the price of most items, but not unreasonably so. Friendly staff too.
