I ordered several items from HOS to be delivered to Finland. Payment and shipment to Finland was efficient. However when I received my package I realised 2 items were missing. This I assumed was a mistake by the Finnish customs. I sent an email to HOS customer service and they replied immediately. HOS confirmed that the items have most likely been lost during the customs phase, but nonetheless promised to send me the items again. All in all excellent customer service. All the clothing that I ordered were the correct sizes and good quality, and they fixed the problem I had immediately without any fuss. I would definitely recommend this company on the basis of this experience.

Ordered two 100% lambswool scarves online and only one arrived - although it came very quickly. It was difficult to contact the company via phone or messenger but I eventually got an email response apologising and saying they had sent a replacement. Very fast service and it arrived the next day. Initially I was disappointed at the missing item but this was resolved quickly and the scarves are beautiful quality and gorgeous colours. Would recommend this company.

I ordered the 8 yard deluxe kilt and I can’t believe that they can make them at this price. The material they make them out of is poly viscose and I have had kilts in the past made from that material but all of them seamed to get the pleats wrinkled after sitting down 4 or 5 times. I opened the bag and it didn’t have to be pressed at all. I worn it all day and the pleats looked just as good as I got it out. The shipping to Arkansas USA was super quick. I lead a bagpipe band here in Arkansas and I’m really considering ordering these kilts for our band members as a good outdoor weather kilt. Great job guys!

Have to be honest I was extremely worried after reading the many reviews of this website. We placed an order for a Harry Potter item that nobody else had in stock unless they were ridiculously more expensive. This item was nearly £200 so after reading so many negative reviews we were understandably nervous. We did not receive a confirmation email just as the reviews had said so we started to panic a bit more. We then called the customer service number and it was an incorrect number as said in the reviews do by now we were really worried. I then found another number and after about 10 minutes (pretty average, especially at the moment) and a lovely helpful lady answered the phone and said she couldn't understand why we hadn't received our email and within minutes she resent it and it appeared as did our order 5 days after we placed it. It was perfectly packaged and we cannot thank them enough for their speedy delivery and excellent customer service. Would. 100% recommended this company and will definitely use them again. Thank you to all involved for all your help.

This would have been a 1-star review if it weren't for the chat I had with a member of the in-store shop team. From what he told me, the shop itself runs completely independently, doing business to an efficient standard. However, their e-commerce department is woefully understocked, undermanned and incapable of dealing with high influxes of orders. I had to cancel my order (the refund was immediate, which was very much appreciated) and was left pretty disappointed with the whole affair. Long story short, these guys are obviously legitimate vendors, but they need to pull their fingers out when it comes to their e-commerce approach. Especially given the way in which the world is turning. This is the digital age, guys!

I ordered a clan kilt pin and lapel pin Wed. afternoon. It is now Friday 10:30 am and my order just arrived via FedEx. I thought it must have come from within the US, but no. It came all the way from Edinburgh that quickly. I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed by the speed of shipping...add to that the fact that the prices for these pins were the absolute best I found...I highly recommend Heritage of Scotland and will definitely be ordering from them again.

I thought it was too good to be true - the decent prices, reasonable shipping rates to Canada... but no. I placed my order on November 12th and received today, just 4 DAYS LATER, and the quality of the item is better than I imagined at the price I paid. Did alot of shopping here for friends and family and first off I want to thank Kris at the counter for his kind and helpful patience! This store is filled with so many wonderful gifts that after I purchased them all I literally didn't have a free hand to take any pictures! A remarkable shop filled with everything from authentic kilts to wonderful wool sweater and even some really cool hats plus so much more. Truly a must stop! As Always, Enjoy!

I have to say that i was expecting the worst after reading the reviews, I even emailed them as i hadn't received no order confirmation but after emailing them twice i never received a response but to my surprise i received my order a few day's after placing it. The only criticism i would say is that they should be confirming customers order's and to respond to customers email requests. Thankyou.

I ordered two cashemre scarfs, they were about 50 € each. That said I like them, they look nice they feel good, but they have pilling which pertains to a low quality. (short cashemre strings). So I am a bit disapointed in the quality. However, they dispatch the goods with Fedex and they were at my place within 3 days (Austria) which is awesome.

We found stuff. Scottish stuff. Souvenirs of all sorts. Cheapest magnets? They have those. Cooler magnets? Yep, we got those too. Key chains? Duh. If you're looking for souvenirs of all sorts, other than the classics (we're boring people), this is probably the place for you. The prices are decent.

Helpful staff on phone but more a tourist trap than a kilt shop

I was surprised to hear the postman ringing at the doorbell; but then I was delighted that he came to bring me the package from Scotland. I'm full of joy about these lovely things. Actually, I wanted to buy one of these wonderful scarves (unfortunately I lost the one I brought from a trip to London (the shop sold Scottish scarves made of lambwool)) - such an incredibly large number of different designs! I recommend this shop to everybody searching for traditional clothes, not having the money to visit this fantastic country! And what's more: I love Christmas. I am nuts about the pre Christmas-season, wearing these jumpers and eating from reindeer dishes. In this shop, I found Christmas paradise! I wonder if the shop has grown. I cannot remember that so many gifts have been offered last year... . I must admit that I mainly bought SALE articles, but the prices are absolutely ok! Therefore - go and buy until the brexit makes it difficult!

There's a lot packed into this shop, with little room to move down the center aisle. So best to not really take wide prams in if you can. I went in to go buy my toddler a kilt, so knew what I wanted and the (very popular) tartan that I wanted to get. The young gentleman that served me knew his stock and where to find it very quickly to keep the attention of my toddler, so a fairly quick transaction after having my son try the kilt on.
