Sophie was amazing, she took us through everything we needed for a new puppy, spent a lot of time walking with us and giving advice about best products to use and what her dog likes and doesn't. She also recommended the VIP app which we didn't know about and that saved us a lot of money. Honestly, what a great experience, it is now our favourite pet shop and we will be back! I went into your store to buy some fish 🐟 I had to ask for assistance which took some time coming, then a boy came to serve me,,I told him that I had two tanks one of them is new,I told him that in my first tank I had 3 could water fish 🐠 brought from the store, I've been going to the store now for over 25years I told the boy that the second tank is almost double the size so could I buy 2 lager fish and 2 smaller ones,,,he refused to serve me then,,in the end the got the wee lassy who was the manager to talk to me and she explained that I can't have any more fish because I already had 3 fish,,I told her it was for my second tank, Which she replied that I didn't say that to the boy,,he repeated to me the same answer,,, well that's really funny because I had a lady witness the whole situation and she said to me that I did tell him that I had 2 than

Always a great service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Have never used vets or groomers here for no other reason than we have our own groomer and vet elsewhere, so can't comment on these services.

Lovely wee store with friendly staff. I've never had a stock issue when trying to get supplies, also has a vets4pets which is okay as well as a groom room which I've not been back to in a few years so may have improved. This store has livestock for sale from small pets to aquatics and reptiles. My dog Ben loves a good sniff round the store and can't leave without a territorial pee which is always cleaned up quickly.

This is my favourite Pets At Home location because they have a recycling station for food and treat packaging. Pet food companies use so much plastic for 2 or 4 little treats and it’s good to have somewhere you can recycle these to divert them from landfills. Also staff is very friendly and helpful here.

I went into the store as she had left her shopping in the panic. I had forgotten my mask so the staff quickly provided me with one. Huge store with all the supplies you could need for your pets. Staff are well trained and very knowledgeable about the animals they sell; animal welfare is paramount. The store also includes a fantastic veterinary practice, Vets 4 Pets and a handy wee grooming salon.

Internal Vet & Grooming services are both very good. Parking can be a little awkward, due to the time limitations and getting out with traffic, so its sometimes better to park in the Tesco opposite and walk over. No complaints.

Caters for a few different animals although very little on the ferret sector, for such a big sized well known place I expected more. It's overpriced which is a shame given that places such as these have contributed to the closure of little local pet shops which were much more fun to browse and far more helpful. In my opinion over priced and offer rated.

This shop is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. However as a company it doesn't seem to fix rather frustrating situation I find myself in almost every time this particular offer is running . Hill's Science Plan 1.5kg bags are on offer as 3 for 2. It's not been many occasions that the relevant stock is present. Sometimes there's only x2 bags, therefore the 3rd (free) bag isn't available. Each 1.5kg bag is £15.79so you can understand the offer being great. However it not being accessible I stopped bothered trying. I have got round it now though. Easier to order it online for collection in store. Often the staff will comment that they sell this product in store but if you order it you're potentially causing 4 or 5 potentially wasted journeys to the store. This example is very specific but it's the only experience I've had with the company. The problem with ordering or lack thereof and numerous false information as to when such stock would be available. I don't know who's responsible for stock counts and such like duties. Although I do feel it reflects poorly as far as the organisation of the company. The problem consistently was existing and staff seemed to know little as to why this is a problem. The shrug of shoulders doesn't mean I don't care, its more I genuinely wish I could help you but I've no idea why this keeps happening. It makes sense when majority of customers would buy 3 instead of 1 if they're getting 1 free, due to the savings alone. Many people have more than one cat too. The order should be tripled as to what your normal selling numbers, minimally!

Great superstore for all your pampering dog requirements. We had a problem with a dog basket and returned it expecting a bit of an argument, but the guy was great have us offer of exchange or a refund and apologised for the error. Highly recommended.

I visited pets at home today to purchase a Syrian Hamster. First and foremost the service was outstanding. After realising that all the hamsters on display were females the assistant went to the back of the building to see if you they had any males. She returned swiftly with two large cages filled with young male Syrians. She allowed us to choose the hamster that stood out and handled it expertly before allowing us to hold him. She was incredibly helpful and was sure to answer all our questions. The care of the animals was to a high standard, incredibly clean cages, plenty of entrainment and space to manoeuvre. Overall, the experience was incredibly pleasant and they appear to have a great work force.

Always a pleasure to shop here. Everyone is always extremely helpful! (My dog always gets lots of attention, makes him a happy pup!) My daughter's cocketiel fell into my care while she was moving. Seeing as she is so considerate she left me practically no information on how not to kill it. However, Joane (very politely!!!) helped me with food and keeping it alive and thankfully the bird is now back in the care of my daughter! I just wanted to thank you for all the help! I came in very stressed and left feeling comfortable and still laughing by the time I got back home! Was quite a queue (ah Well, doesn't stop me spending inordinate amounts of money on my spoilt pup!) Keep up the good word. Will be back soon

Get my tropical fish from here, they even do a tank water test for your fish tank you just give them a sample of your fish tank water and they test it for free. They sell their plants in packets and they don't have snails on them so you don't get them in your tank. They do a wide range of pet food and toys and there's a instore groom room and a vet's.

Having had a very sub par experience at the Dunfermline branch of Pets at home (where a member of staff refused point blank to allow us to handle a rabbit prior to sale), we have just had a vastly improved experience at the Corstorphine branch.
