Wonderfully helpful staff and a great selection of great teas and coffees. For those wanting to upgrade from the PG Tips and Nescafé, it's a must!

Popped in for a tea I got there ages ago, ended up buying more than anticipated. Staff very polite and knowledgeable, was served by a young gentleman who helped me with my enquiry. Some amazing teas in stock, some already packed and some sold loose by weight (their English Rose tea is superb) as well as coffees and hot chocolates. Might be a bit more pricey than your average supermarket teas but so much worth every penny!

Lovely shop. Hot chocolate , tea and speciality coffee! Pricing is around £9 for hot chocolate or £10 - 15 for some nice coffee. They offer samples which is nice!

Really nice and helpful staff. I had a great experience on my last visit. The shop is well stocked and has so many different flavours of tea and coffee and biscuits I had a few free samples and ended up buying everything I tried The aesthetic is also amazing. I popped into Whittard today after work to have a bit of a mooch at the teas. I was helped by a really great assistant who helped me find my Rooibios(still don’t know how to say or spell it) tea! They then told me about an offer so I got a chocolate stick and a bag of free coffee. I had never tried the coffees from Whittard before and the sales assistant gave me a really lovely recommendation. The store is always really lovely but this sales assistant really shone to me, as a fellow sales assistant I really appreciated the time they took to help me. I didn’t catch their name but on the receipt it said ‘Richard’ so I hope they get told they really brightened my day! Thanks a bunch! X

Choosing a new tea in here is a treat. I like tasting all their selected purposes of the day and know what I'm buying, or just ask the vendors, that are always polite and accomplished. I sometimes just buy a good smelling tea in a nice box! Prices are high, but nothing unaffordable.

Fantastic service and excellent expertly chosen choices of tea, coffee and sumptuous hot chocolates. We bought the blueberry cheesecake hot chocolate and a medium strength coffee with dark chocolate and orange notes. There are always tasters when you go in and we tried the lemon meringue pie hot chocolate, rose water tea and whisky tea. They also sell coffee pots, cups, mugs and beautiful teapots. Located on Princes Street opposite Edinburgh Waverley. Ideal to stop by and pick up some great teas and such for yourself or for gifts.

Great place! Lots of different varieties of tea. The staff working there is friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pressured to buy extra things. The staff there has genuine love for tea. They just really want to share their experiences. They offered me lots of sample to taste and smell. Do recommend this place to all. Btw, sometimes buying 50 teabags is cheaper than buying the loose tea for the same amount. You get 25g more tea while paying 1.5 pounds less. Lol

We only popped in for a bit of a nose around, but what an experience. Came out with 2 teas and a hot chocolate. We met the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy called Callum(I think) I was drawn into a world of teas and shown the best of what they've got to offer. Please make that guy the flagship of staff training that's how salesman are meant to be! I was made to feel like I wanted the lovely blueberry infusion of rooibos tea. Definitely be going back and getting more.

The staff here is very nice - courteous, very helpful and oh-so-pleasant. My only niggle is that the in-shop selection seems little short; wish they had more loose leaf teas, and fewer bric-a-bracs.

Small shop which specialises in different teas, loose and in bags. Usually pretty busy with tourists so be careful if you have a big bag or case, don't want to swing round and hit the displays. This crowded nature means it isn't the most accessible for eg wheelchairs. I am a big fan of the hot chocoloate they sell here, and there are also some nice gifts.

Friendly staff but there's not much variety inside the store, and online you can have promotions that are not available in store, like 3 for 2 (Sometimes, not a permanent promotion).
