Hi was in the Rutherglen store today and was served by a man called Gary well not only did he explain all we needed to know about the suede effect paint and talk us through some beautiful wallpapers which Iv arrange to go back in and see with him he made me feel welcome and was so cheerful we had a chuckle together will be returning as soon as the painting is over see u soon Gary

Yet another great experience choosing colours and buying paint and equipment at the CDC at Shawfield. Tony, Stephen and Ryan were all so helpful (and patient!).. all the way from sample pots to final purchase. Particular thanks to Tony for his help and advice today about paint amounts and in picking the right equipment for the job. Put simply - I would never go anywhere else for paint. Visiting Crown decorating centre in Rutherglen was certainly a highlight of our day after not being successful elsewhere in our purchases. We were very fortunate to have Gary helping us, from the moment he said hello, he could not be more helpful. Gary helped us with the special paints and colours we requested and worked out the best possible pricing. The paint pot tops were all sellotaped, this is very important as we found to our despair a few years ago when buying paint elsewhere and the lid was not secured. To top it all off Gary even provided us with a phone charger to allow us to show him the images of the area where paint was required. We won't shop anywhere else for paint now due to the service and kindness we received.

Very close to home so I have used this store more than once for my decorating needs. Have only seen 2 staff at front of house so it can be slow at times.. Staff very knowledgeable/helpful about the stock though. Prices for premium brands are alright and they can mix colours too. They also do a recycling service for old paint tins which is a great thing I think. Will return here to buy all my decorating supplies in future.

Most of my work is in the West end of Glasgow but I still travel to this store every time to pick up all my materials, as the staff are very friendly and helpful, most importantly really knowledgeable about their products.
