I haven't been in this library for ages since covid. But it's very bright tidy clean and service from the experienced staff there. Always willing to go the extra mile whether it's regarding a book, photocopying or computing. It may be pouring outside but you always get a warm welcome when you enter this Tardis of a SL Branch library. Went today. Still brilliant. So very sociable ✨️⭐️ I was back in the other day to return a couple of books and to collect more. Oh, why am I obsessed with books and all that one can learn from them? This place is a harbour where I can drop anchor and try to resolve my solitude. There are some new faces here, but still the same atmosphere of kindness and caring service. A light shining in the dark. Especially when the lights are out ♥️👋 6 June '24 Such a wonderful collection of caring and diligence shown by all staff. I can not fathom why the Council has decided to close this Library a knee jerk reaction. I will NEVER FORGET THEM 💖😀⭐️ Eternity doesn't know the word goodbye; time's separated us only to bring us together. Like the sky carries the stars in its bottomless womb. I carry your heart in mine. There is a candle in my window and my door is never closed. Please, don't mind the few cracks in the walls, creaking floor boards and old, worn-out furniture, for my hearth never stops burning for you. I have no photos or other proof but can only tell you about my experience my husband said " did u know three is a library at greenhills I went round to the exact place and decided that I wanted to be part of this I cannot believe that the service is so amazing . I have had and still have a lot of health problems an I find it wonderful that I can hardly get any more from them I am76 yrs young and have always loved reading I cannot believe that you have a better Set up as I think this is perfect

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Not a massive amount of books but requests from the online catalogue can be collected from any local branch. Various annual events are well promoted and very enjoyable.
