Loved this shop! Rebecca helped us find the perfect kilts with matching scarves and was very sweet. They have two giant books of tartan samples that I wish I could’ve taken home with me, so you can place custom orders and have them shipped directly to you. Can’t wait to wear mine!!

This place has wonderful gifts. Ethan & Aftar we’re very helpful even trying a sweatshirt on so I could see how it would fit. After we bought our items and got 10 blocks away I noticed I left my purse behind. Luckily they kept it safe until I returned! I was extremely grateful!! Had a lovely experience at the House of Cashmere earlier today. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Rebecca who helped me find the perfect cashmere sweater in the best color and size! I appreciated her honest feedback and her tips on where to get the best lighting in the store to see which I preferred. I can't remember the gentleman's name who was also working, but he was a delight as well and kept my husband company while I shopped. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to buy some quality cashmere items while in Glasgow.

If i could give this place more stars you'll bet your sweet haggis i would, it is perfect! The staff was amazing and gave me almost a full scottish makeover, and opened my eyes to the history of all the clans from around Scottland. The quality of everything there is well worth the price, i even thought it would be more expencive. Definatley comming back there and collect all the clan colors hah! Cheers from iceland!

We had a great experience in the House of Cashmere on Gordon Street ! We were sweetly greeted at our entry by Mr Avtaar! He had the sweetest conversation with us and made us feel extremely welcome. We were very happy to have bumped into him on his first day in Glasgow. Ethan then helped us pick out our shopping. He guided us through all the amazing options and heard our needs out and found us the perfect bags. He was also extremely welcoming and had the most fun and energetic presence. Do visit the House of Cashmere and check out their amazing collection and more importantly great company.

Friend and I came to find a gift for his parents, as he was visiting from Italy. The lady who helped us (I think her name was Antoinette or Antonia (sorry, if I am mistaken)) was super helpful and very professional. She gave us amazing advice and genuinely cared about helping us find the perfect presents for his parents and aunty. After looking in every gift shop in Glasgow, I found this gem. I was looking for a particularly specific tartan tie. I thought I had found it but the guy in the store assured me it was totally wrong. However, his young female assistant looked thoroughly and found one. The staff were absolutely amazing at their service. Being from Lancashire, I can only buy online, but now I've found this company, I will be purchasing other items. So the owner recognises this review, it was clan farquharson. Thank you so much guys.

Lovely shop and wonderful souvenirs! Bought a lovely Tartan scarf and t-shirt. However, the best part was staff- as I was the only guest in the shoppe that afternoon, the store assistant, Charlotte made me feel right at home by talking to me. She was absolutely so sweet and helpful. She helped me find a tiny souvenir to bring home to my family, told me about things to do the next time I come to Glasgow, and gave me a lovely discount just because! Then her and another shoppe assistant took the time to help me understand how to claim back my spent taxes ( since I was an American guest ) and gave me the correct paper work and everything. Can't wait to shop there again when I go back to visit. Hopefully all goes well with uni and auditions for her! Thank you so much!

easonable price. My partner was assisted by Marco who gave some excellent advice about their selection of Scottish men's grooming products. We were surprised by the bargain price. I found a hat, scarf and glove set replicating Hermione Grainger's from Harry Potter as they were a local supplier/designer. The lovely Koren was very helpful and patient while I found out which pieces a friend wanted as a gift. Marco then explained the style of knitting on the scarf which was interesting. Koren also popped the items in a gift bag with a free card of Emma Watson wearing the same set. This was an absolute gem of a shop which was our last stop on our way to Grand Central Station. So glad we stopped by and what a friendly and welcoming place it was! Thank you, Koren and Marco! You're a credit to your shop. Highly recommend!

Had a great time perusing and buying. The material used for the kilts were a huge step up from some of the other stores I visited. They felt more solid versus the ones from a different store had light peeking through the weave of the fabric. Jake was super helpful as I picked out a cashmere blanket that I really didn't need but really wanted and a Tweed purse mad by a lady from his hometown, Fife. How he knew that I really like unique things, I don't know, but he drew me away from the trite Harris Tweed and to something more me. Thanks! I'll definitely visit again.

Been to this shop many times, met Jake and Charlotte; both were a terrific help and absolutely amazing at making you feel very welcomed in the store. Can’t wait to be back for more lovely items-Made in Scotland brands available in the store! Picked up a few pashmina, a lovely cashmere beret, knee blanket, different shades of beanie hats, two beautiful Lochcarron scarves and a brushed wool Tam O' Shanter Hat in Buchanan Antique Tartan. Jake and Charlotte were so enthusiastic and warm with their assistance in picking everything out, it was a joy to experience the selection this store has to offer in quality cashmere and fine woollens.

This was our first time in Scotland,and Glasgow for that matter. Let me tell you that if you want a very warm, inviting experience, you have to stop into this shop. The staff is as inviting as they come and the only caveat is that I hope you have a bit of spare time because I ended up chatting about world affairs, history, and everything in between. I did purchase an item that has become dear to me and when I leave Scotland, this is the shop I will buy ALL my gift for friends and family in the States for. Come for the cashmere, stay for the friends.

I visited this shop in the middle of a wedding celebration. The employee present, Jake, helped me pick out some beautiful pieces for souvenirs (scarves, ties, and a beautiful blanket) in a very short of amount of time. He was attentive to my shopping needs, and nice enough to explain some of the more interesting details concerning the patterns/stlyes I ended up choosing. Honestly, if you are looking for wool/cashmere pieces while in Glasgow, you'd be doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else.

I was searching around to find a lambswool cape for my sister in the Black Watch colors. When I walked into House of Cashmere, I was warmly greeted by Mary, who was a tremendous help. She was able to find what I was looking for, as well as a beautiful brooch that goes well with the cape. She was very informative about proper wear and care for the cape, as well as the background of the heather brooch. I am extremely grateful that I walked into the shop and that Mary was on duty.

We stopped in close to closing looking for a set of throws. We're only in Glasgow for a couple of days and have looked around. Jake and Erin (we think) were super helpful and showed us a wide variety of throws in different patters even pulling one off the wall. We did find one we liked but they only had one in stock, from the highest part of the wall, but they were able to order the second one and have it shipped to us in the US. We would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the city. They're open later than most stores and were super helpful.

I just arrived into Glasgow and wandered into this shop. Gury, the sales assistant, was very helpful and very nice. I bought two cashmere scarves and a hat for my partner and couldn’t be happier. The house of Cashmere that I visited was at 167 Argyle St. very close to the central train station.
