李.fabulous shop, amazing staff. The staff approached friendly, providing really helpful instructions and suggestions. Been treated nicely as a first-time visitor buying not much fabric. Some options were pretty expensive but they did present the affordable ones.

A. P.Love this shop. It's the first time I've been here since lockdown last year.I love buying the remnants as they are quite large. I also today bought 3 display books that are no longer in use. I use them for a lot of different types of decor as they are either samples of curtain fabric or fabric for furniture. Brilliant for making cushion covers or patchwork foot stools. Often you can buy discontinued sewing patterns at reduced prices and also they have plenty of full price patterns. Staff are very helpful and they are now looking for more staff.

Only downside I found was the ramp up to the shop, I have a temporary mobility problem and found it very difficult getting in and out of the premises, this must put some customers off.

Decent selection of fabric.
L. L.Excellent shop. Not only do they stock a wide range of fabrics, especially for a smaller retailer, but there were many deals to be had when I visited. Wasn't expecting the place to be so affordable, to be honest. At least comparable to some of the better value etsy stores, when purely comparing the price of the product before postage.
The interior has a really pleasant design, with an easily traversible layout and being brightly and evenly lit, with a neutral colour palette.
The main reason I'm bringing this up is that it is functionally useful for colour matching fabrics. Something which can be a bit harder to do at an outdoor stall, when entombed within a dimly lit industrial unit or relying solely on photographs from an online retailer.
In addition to that, the interior definitely left me feeling more inspired than before I went in, being something like a hybrid between a clothing shop and an art gallery. It is easy to lose track of time, brain storming as you float around the place.
Most importantly, all the staff I spoke to were very accommodating and friendly, despite the fact that I must have looked through half the shop before deciding what to purchase. They were keen to offer input on my half formed and poorly translated ideas when queried.
The only downside of my visit was that my first choice of fabric wasn't stocked enough to supply this particular sewing project, though I can forgive that, as I did require a bare minimum of three and a half metres.
Regardless, I will definitely hit up Mandors again, well worth the commute.
M. M.Well set-out store and friendly helpful staff as always. However they didn't have the variety of stock I've experienced there in the past. Was looking for more punchier/contemporary designs in a material heavy enough for upholstery. Not a lot of choice
B. C.Outstanding customer service from Mandors - in particular Pamela. We recently ordered 2 sets of curtain fabric and received fantastic assistance from Pamela to work out the fabric lengths we required with our room measurements and pattern repeats. Our fabrics both arrived in store ahead of schedule and we were notified immediately in order to collect. We were able to take advantage of a great sale they had on too which made the whole experience even better! First class service, will definitely be back. Please pass on our thanks!!!
