Michelle the Vet Nurse was lovely, as were the reception staff, and the Vet Lucy, all very professional, yet friendly and down to earth, I was there to drop off my little fur baby Maggie the Ragdoll, to be spayed, I was a wee bit worried about it all, howver I was put to ease by Michelle, who reassured me Maggie was in good hands, now at home and recovering well from her op, Lucy the Vet called a day later to ask how she was and then I sent some pics in if the wound so they could keep an eye on it....and will do again in a few days...Excellent service from Vets@Pets, Thank you so much to all the Staff.

Always has a good level of staff who are keen to help. I find they have a good range of what I need. I think the only thing is they don't carry as much for large and extra large dogs and are referred to ordering online. I understand this is due to demand etc but it can be frustrating to have to resort to online shopping because big dogs aren't 'the in thing'. Again this is not the stores fault this is just the joys of breed preferences and designer dogs.

Good visit to get dog treats, bought a massive bag for £2, very good value. Kids love going here too as they get to see the hamsters, rabbits etc. Water is always available outside too for dogs.

Very expensive but that is to be expected of just about any pet store I have ever been in. They do have a good selection and the staff was very courteous. We did not have any questions so I cannot comment on their knowledge base. We also did not require any of the location's grooming services so please do not consider my rating a commentary on that aspect of the business.

Like many other outlets a noticeable absence in the choice of dog food on the shelves. This was the second store i had visited that day. Thankfully Pablo the pug did get an alternative that he has had before.

I always go here to buy cat food, cat toys, hamster food, hamster treats, hamster toys, rabbit food, rabbit treats and toys and budgies food and treats and toys and thats where I bought my rabbits and hamsters they always have deals and offers on offer.

Good selection of animal products for cats, dogs, rodents, birds, fish and a small reptile selection too. Sells live fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and rats. Also inside is a vets with very friendly staff, took my kitten there when the vet I was using let us down.

My daughters and I visited today to buy or adopt some young guinea pigs, we had visited a few weeks ago to check out the pets and of course visited many other pet shops to see their guinea pigs. We returned to pets at home because it was clear that the animals in this store were well looked after and kept in a clean, suitable spacious habitat, unlike other shops..:( We were given smashing advice and information by Cammy (hopefully ok to mention names..he deserves the credit!) Very thorough and helpful compared to other shops where I felt they were trying to pressure us to buy when not ready. On this occasion we were ready, and he checked and let us handle the cavies before making the commitment/decision. He was very knowledgeable and explained things well, especially about behaviours and went into detail about the social needs of the guinea pigs and diet requirements. It's all very well researching on the net, but a pleasure talking to a fellow human. My teenage daughter is over the moon with her new furry friends..a lot of gentle purring going on, and they're eating well and grooming.. We will be back soon to look at more luxurious indoor set ups and more toys..very good timothy hay..no dust whatsoever, and prices are comparable to Amazon, so I won't be on that again as less reliable products. Thanks again Cammy!

I recently purchased a hamster from this store and found the process and staff to be delightful. Having never purchased an animal before, the process was surprisingly quick and simple, and through which I even got quickly questioned on my supplies and cage to make sure my little guy would be happy in his new home. Very glad that this store cares about their animals' wellbeing! Although he chewed through the three boxes given by the store (two hamster ones and a guinea pig box due to the rain), my syrian hamster (Kush) is very friendly and has only bitten me once when mistaking my finger for a peanut! Even when I scoop him up to get him used to being handled during the taming process he has not bitten, but only runs away. He is a delight and a quick run-through of how to check for ailments by a staff member shows that he was well kept after in the store. I would definitely return to this store and definitely recommend it to people looking to shop for small animals (especially syrian hamsters!)
