I would give this lovely hidden gem of a place 10* if I could. Can't sing her praises enough. So helpful and very friendly. Shop is well stocked with all Scottish (many Glasgow made gifts (a lot local) If you are looking for ideas to send abroad this is the place to go.

Beautiful shop with lots of quirky presents, especially for those people who have everything! Suzi is a ray of sunshine and so knowledgeable about where all the items come from. You always get a wee story about where it was made and who the maker is, she is so personable and alway makes the shopping experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Sunshine No. 1 is a gorgeous wee shop. I get all my greetings cards from there, and it's full of beautiful scottish-made items/art. I always go here first to find presents for people that have a story, and that they'll actually like.

It's always a pleasure to pop in to her wee shop for a snoop and a friendly face. Once a month Eyedresser (opticians) have a pop up shop within Sunshine No1. Michael has the most wonderful and original frames for your next set of specs. Wonderful service

A little shop with a lot of heart, don't miss a chance to visit next time you're in the Mount Florida area and meet the lovely owner Suzi. Sells Scottish-made arts and crafts - from unique hand made cards to jewellery and a lot of things in between. Has a good range whether you're on a tight budget or looking to spend a bit more on that something special. Definitely worth a visit (or three!)

Great wee shop in Glasgow's southside. Lots of lovely, locally produced one off gifts made from all over Scotland. And Suzi, the owner is a joy, knows everything that you'll ever need to know about everything she sell, and her suppliers. Believe it or not but it's only 10 minutes from the city centre (by train), and a free gift wrapping service too :)

Sunshine No.1 has been brightening up the corner in mount florida for a number of years now. It is the number one place for all your wee gifts, cards, prints, hand made stuff, jewellery and other artisan paraphernalia. The owner Suzie has a great eye for "stuff" and is always super friendly and helpful to the point of even advising me where to get exactly what I was looking for in another shop! If you walk by and see anything in them window displays that grabs your attention, pop in and have a look around. Sunshine No.1 is an asset to Mount Florida (and beyond). Love it.

This is my go to place for unique gifts and cards in my neighbourhood. Suzi is great at hunting down Scottish crafters for things to suit different budgets. I love browsing Sunshine No.1 but the trick is not to keep gifts that were meant for someone else! 🥰
