Liked the idea of this and took a punt on the vinyl club - but then Read reservations on Facebook and received my first picks - way off the mark - Souting for Girls fifth studio album is not Indie? Genesis from 1983 supposedly prog? The real let down was feeling like once you'd paid for the albums you had no recourse to exchange other than at your own expense - no possibility of refining choices / selections more personally... final let down was the continued promises of being in touch within 48 hrs... This in my request to repeatedly cancel my subscription... Peter does respond publicly on Facebook - but takes no action, after three requests and zilch response I've had to cancel my bank card as I don't trust Retro to not take the payment... File under Barge pole 😳😠😡 FOLLOW UP... Pete got in touch personally, apologised for the mix up and sent me a full refund... And two replacement albums - fair, and honest - acknowledged poor communication, Still not for me but can't fault follow up

I have been a customer of The Retro for a number of years now, dating well back to its early days of Tech Fi, but that’s a review for another day. In all my years of using The Retro not once have I received bad service, everyone I have dealt with has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their subjects. On the very rare occasion I have had an issue, the team got back to me quickly and promptly, and reassured me they would solve it, and to their credit, they always have, and in good time too I may add. The services and products they offer are second to none, their monthly boxes are great value for money and I can’t wait to see what comes in my next “Monthly Comic Book Club” box. Keep up the great work everyone.

Had bought records previously but had been left dissatisfied with the quality. I contacted the retro store and within a few hours they had responded to me giving me all the info I needed. I signed up for the subscription boxes and am very happy with the products received. A brilliant, quick service from an excellent company! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Was looking to start a vinyl collection but was unsure where to start. The team at the Retro got back to my query within 24 hours with an informative friendly response. I decided to go ahead with the monthly record club as it is great value for money in my opinion. So far I have 12 records to date and I should be receiving my next box in two week. The records are packaged very well and sound incredible! I would definitely recommend The Retro Store!

I've enjoyed receiving my hand selected vinyls. Great choices. Correspondance with the guys has been friendly. Able to pick some interesting albums I've never heard whilst still being something not too radically different from my taste. I also bought some vinyl cleaning gel from them which has been superb.
