Absolutely brilliant. I ordered online & fabric was slightly different colour than I expected: called Higgs & Higgs & refund was no problem. Ordering online is quick, easy, the choice and quality of fabric is amazing & it arrives promptly. On a recent visit to the area, I went into the shop; customer service was excellent, prices correct & I am really impress with this company. I won’t bother buying anywhere else now.

So much choice of fabrics, in all different materials and patterns. They have been arranged by material to make it easier to navigate, and often have deals/sales as well. The sale section was great to rifle through, where they have discounted pre-cut pieces. Couldn't recommend more.

Wonderful shop, massive space and great value for money. They do a scrap bag for £20 which is 100% worth every penny and their gutterman cotton is the cheapest I have found it. Their fabric is really well organised and the design of their shop is brilliant. Will definitely be visiting again.

Always happy to buy fabric from here. Recently when my original fabric wasn't in stock I received an email to say so. When I phoned them up they went out of their way to find me an alternative fabric and it was dispatched immediately.

Great place to get all your materials from etc, and there's a very helpful young lady and gentleman there called gaby and Johnny, the young lady is very helpful and lovely to talk to you about all your project you have, she also run her own sewing business from home when she not working called seweco check it out online 🙂

Such a great team at Higgs & Higgs. Nothing is too much, everyone is always friendly and very helpful. They are great communicators, whether you're asking about samples or tracking an order and the range and quality of fabrics they have available is just fantastic. If i could only ever order fabric though one company it would be these guys.

Great shop for fabric. Have been a few times to get things when the kids need material for projects. Good range stocked in store, staff happy to just let you browse and help when you're ready. A little hidden away but worth seeking out.

Lovely place with incredible value, quality fabric. Some as low as. 3.50 per meter. Amazing staff too, I forgot to buy thread with my purchase of fabric, then went back to buy, instead of charging me they just gave it to me. Really meant a lot and they have earned a life customer with their generosity.

So many beautiful fabrics and it's so nice to be able to go there and actually feel them. There was a great range of dressmaking, soft furnishing and crafting fabrics (amongst others) and also a lovely array of bias bindings. Really helpful staff and very knowledgeable, will definitely be back there again soon!

Only ever bought online but it is a fantastic shop. Fabrics are the best quality and beautifully cut and folded. (I hate wonky cut fabric). Always arrive quick and postage is cheap.
