Not a bad place, just somehow everyone there wants to look at what you are. Pretty sure I was overcharged for a few items too, only be a few quid but still. All that being said, it's nice to be able to go to a physical store with a reasonable selection of items to choose from.

For someone who has just started getting into creating models (planes, cars, tanks etc) they had a okay range of both models and equipment but it definitely could be better. No proper airbrushes, limited stock of popular items and a mark up of 10-30% in prices when compared to online retail. Staff were friendly and helpful however!

Was one of my favourite places to browse. However it doesn't seem as well stocked as it used to be...a few empty spaces on shelves. Our grandchildren love choosing a wet day activity here...and there were a few bargains...but had a bit of a struggle yesterday. Plenty of younger children's stuff. The 8 yr old managed a small canvas and felt tips for under £5 but the 10 yr old couldn't find a suitable colouring book for under £15!! Always friendly helpful staff here though.

This is a large spacious store which caters for all types of craft. It sells every thing from tools to storage solutions. It has a good selection of themed activities for events such as Halloween or Christmas. A visit to the store might prove a source of inspiration to anyone working in a school or wishing to do crafts with their own children.

Very large Hobbycraft with a lot of different products. Staff were friendly but there was nobody on the shop floor to help me find what I was looking for.

Always find what I'm looking for. Today I went with my son he wanted skin tone art pens, he found what he wanted and was over the moon once he tried them out, they are perfect! the staff are always nice and it's always clean and tidy.

I've visited in half term. There was a small que, but all straight forward. Inside, I found the usual collection off all crafty things. Staff was helpful and friendly, as always.

Not a bad place to get your craft items. It's got a nice selection, the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a weird temperature difference between the upstairs and the downstairs. But everything is a bargain but you can find a lot of good offers here if you look for them.

The 'go to' place for craft supplies. Always well stocked with a wide selection of goods covering pretty much every home craft you can think of. Prices are quite high compared to online stores but everything is in one place so you 'save' on time. There are also the occasional bargains to be had. Always check out the special offers. Staff tend to be informal and chatty but helpful. The free kids activities during the holidays are worth a go. Just make sure you book before you go. Easy to drive to on the outskirts of town with plenty of onsite parking.

Great range of products 5 STARS however, SIGNAGE is very poor ZERO STARS. No elevated signs so you have to waste lots of time searching aisles made worse, when they move things around making searching more frustrating due to the poor signage. Even staff don't know and can't always direct you! Store needs to sort this out, it has been a long standing problem that continues to be ignored. Customer focus in this area VERY POOR.

I was in this shop so long, I think they thought I would never leave! A great shop with everything you need for a crafting hobby. Allow lots time as there so much to see. Has very extensive ranges with some classes to show how to, if you're thinking a starting on a new craft. There are notices up on window to show you when they are.

Hobbycraft has a great range of products and is the only craft supermarket around. It's not until you really need something that the problem is revealed: it is trying to cover too many crafts. This results in an isle or so per craft and sometimes this isn't enough. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful place to browse and be introduced to other crafts.

Staff knowledge is absolutely outstanding. They must have the equivalent of an art degree each as when discussing problems ive had with the canvas they've understood the nature of the problem and were able to offer advice on technique as well as product choices.

Wierd store layout, seems far too big for what it is. For a store that is all about crafting and hobbies, or home made nick nacks it is a very bland store. looks rather dated. Reminds me of walking around Allied carpets as a child in the 90's, I felt as though I was in another dimension called the dull zone that was only inhabited by me. It is pretty expensive, however they do hold alot of good stock. very rarely cant find what I am looking for.
