Very impressive structure relatively recently refurbished to an excellent standard. There is lots to see inside, difficult to explain in words as truly unique place. There is lot going on here and I don't remember seeing that many tombs in a Christian building. The cathedral is also a short walk to the high street (pedestrian area) and from there only another 5 mins to another shopping mall.

Absolutely fantastic! It's a really eye opener how beautiful the building itself is!
They have wonderful staff and volunteers that are knowledgeable with the history and the stained glass! They have a little outside garden aswell as a chained library, a cafe and ceremonies there like Sunday service!
It's also right in the middle of Hereford and looms over the lovely little city! 100% worth a visit!

Beautiful, probably the most visually stunning cathedral we have visited. Lovely, warm & welcoming staff, wish I had spent more time here, lots to see and take in.
A very special place, calming on the senses. Mappa Mundi & changed library viewing reopens 24th Jan so we didn't get to see it, another time I hope. Glad the heaters were on 😏

Had a very interesting visit to The Mappa Mundi and Chained Library. Refreshments in the cafe next to that and went for a quick look round the Cathedral. I was really disappointed that I wasn't going to have the time to stay longer and learn more about it. What I did get to see was really beautiful and quite intriguing.

Free entry unless visiting the chained library/mappa mundi . Not the biggest cathedral but very interesting, some great stain glass windows and tombs.
The chained library and mappa mundi are truly fascinating , there is a great guide in Peter there . Highly recommended

Squat and less imposing cathedral than some but still impressive architecture. Unfortunately on the day of my visit much of the interior was closed off to the public due to an event. What could be seen of the inside was impressive and interesting.

Stunning building and a very informative visit. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Three Choirs open rehearsal. Wished we could've stayed there longer. Orchestra and soloists were breathtaking too. Thank you for an amazing visit!

The Chain Library is a uniquely preserved historical room. Very well presented with experts at hand to answer our questions informatively. The Mappa Mundi was so worth seeing and presented in a way that made me think deeper about our ancestors and their view of the world. Thomas' tomb is worth a visit.

A lovely distinctive cathedral. Has a cafe and shop, plus an attractive outside area to sit with your drink.

Went for the tower tour today £6 well worth it BUT really could be so much better, the tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and I really think that this should be exploited more as when asked questions he knows the answers but if those questions weren't asked then that information wouldn't be passed on.
It's an amazing building and the views are lovely, worth the money
