What's not to love, it sells books of all sorts. Most of the time, the staff in Hereford branch have gone out of their way to help customers find what they are looking for, this I have noticed more by observation

I visited the Hereford store with my granddaughters. I found a staff member extremely helpful she got the book I wanted from upstairs for me I really appreciated that. I asked for help from another staff member who was equally helpful. It's a lovely looking store plenty of room well presented and very clean. I shall be going back when I've finished my book.

One of the best places to begin a new adventure, discovering facts, fiction and fantasy, is a bookshop. Any bookshop. Anywhere. It offers a unique opportunity to find narratives, people, places, objects, cities, voyages, languages, sciences... Simply, the assembled wealth of human knowledge and imagination, arranged helpfully to allow you to find the thing you came in for and to stumble upon many, many more things you never knew could be of interest. At times like these a bookshop is indispensable. Waterstones is a chain, but none the less valuable. It is calm, books invitingly presented, staff friendly and helpful, the space organised sensibly so you can carry social distancing with you into the store and then find a corner to forget it. Great place to get all your new books and have a good shifty through them before you buy. If they've not got it in they will have a good look around to see if they can get it.

Almost the last bastion of high street book retailing. I like Waterstones. The shops are well laid out, the stock is up to the minute and the staff are heroes. I needed help so asked a young member of staff who couldn't have tried harder. The shop was buzzing. I made my purchases and left feeling great about the whole experience. These are real shops employing real people in real towns,paying real taxes. I will continue to support them as opposed to the online competition as long as I have breath in my body.

Although this is a good place for books. I didn't find it easy to get round the store because of all the small tables scattered around with books piled on them with very little space to get round in my electric wheelchair. Even the tills are not easy to get too. When l mentioned this to one of the staff it was said quote 'we have a lot of books.'

A visit to Waterstones is always a delight for any and all readers. This particular Waterstones was smaller than some of the others I've visited, however it still had more than enough to offer. Its interior was cozy and just dark enough to give you the impression that the entire store was there just for you. All in all a pleasant experience all around.

Generally I'm not a huge fan of wateratones, I find there pricing systems are always a little convoluted and a little high at best. But this was a nice big shop and had vast sections of what you could ask for.
