M. G.Of critical importance to keep everyone's imaginations and ambitions open; excellent additional facilities such as PCs, music and media library, children's library and help with civil issues such as employment, registrations etc; lovely staff
N. B.Good library to visit in the centre of Hull. Easily accessible with a ramp for wheelchair users and those who use a rollator (walker). Not fully open at the present time as the reference library is closed with no reason given other than 'until further notice'. There is a cafe that is accessible from the main entrance/reception.

J. B.Well after waiting for over 1 year I was via appointment able to browse the printed music section. Had it all to myself. considering the vast space I'm sure they don't need appts to browse its similar to supermarkets. You go, browse, select and go, no difference really. Just don't let people sit and read. People can respect others and keep distance. It's not hard.

P. M.With covid library taking extra precautions like appointments only for bus passes or blue badge parking . It would be useful if there where signs with information on for the library regarding taking books out or returning books

R. A.I went to the Makerspace on the top floor for the first time. It's very well equipped and the staff are first rate and very helpful.

J. M.The library staff are very helpful to the best of their ability. That being said some of the staff don't know how to operate wireless printers which is how you can quickly print stuff out through your phone.
But they are very willing to help.
There is a small cafe in the same building which is very affordable and nice if you need to pick something up quick for a snack.
T. W.Brilliant library, fantastic staff with a real sense of serving the community. Has a changing spaces toilet on the upper floor. Children's library is wonderful and they run regular craft activities. It's very wheelchair accessible and had a very nice cafe on the ground floor, though you do have to use the upstairs toilet if you need an accessible one which can be a little frustrating.

S.Very good service here the staff are very friendly and helpful and always nice and chatty, the DVD section is not bad and if theirs a DVD you want that's not on the library's list they can normally get it in from another library for you for a small fee of 70p, then a £1 for the week so on average it's quite reasonable it beats having to pay 10 or 12 quid for a new DVD, they'll also send you a txt when you're DVD is in this normally only takes a few days depending on which library your DVD is coming from. Box sets are between 2 & 3 quid it depends on how meny DVDs are in a set but I've never been charged more than 3 quid for a box set, thay normally get new releases in in about 2 months after they hit the shop's it's not to long to wait, as sometimes I've been looking forward to watching a film so gone out & paid 10 odd quid for it & its been rubbish so I'll get it from the library first then if its worth buying then I'll get it.theirs a nice little coffee shop here to quit cheap, this library has disabled access to for manual and electric wheelchairs & theirs also security on hand if you need help.

P. G.Good library, not a lot of staff as many services are automated. Some good content in the book selection but a lot of it is outdated. Old reference material seems to have become irrelevant over time and not been refreshed with new editions. Library has computer and internet services as well as some local council service access but this is limited.
H. M. N.Pretty disappointed in this case as table wasn't cleaned and the milk jug hasn't been cleaned as you can feel grit init and stained... But service is okay but could improve and quality of food is good.
