1st time visiting pets at home, fantastic place, staff extremely helpful told us about the pets at home VIP app, so we downloaded while in store, got loads of voucher's, when we went to the till got 2 bags of dried dog food and 2x10% off the bill as we registered both our pets Plenty of things to choose from, Pets are allowed in store and the staff loved to play with them Will definitely be going again

Visited yesterday with our sons labrador puppy with a tick on his ear. Lovely young lady offered to look at it for us and immediately removed it. Although weve had dogs all our lives weve never been troubled by ticks, fleas or worms. She was friendly, attentive and put our puppy at ease. Just wanted to send her a big thumbs up 👍 😊

Picked up a few bits for my daughter today at the St Andrews Key store and what a pleasant experience. I didn't know where the things were so asked an assistant who was so lovely and didn't hesitate in helping me, her name was Indie, and even going to get the cat litter for me which I must say was heavy. I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of this shop.. For some reason it just feels wrong. Having said that, should you have a pet and are need of something specialist or advice etc, they can be quite useful. Items tend to cost more in pets at home, maybe the cost is higher due to convenience. I'd rather check the items out in the store and order online at usually a discounted and very different price to pets at home. If your in need of some quickly however, I guess it serves a purpose. A lot of items for various pet owners all under one roof. I think four out of five seems reasonable.. Staff could he a little better/more informed.

I disagree with some of the animal enclosures and the staff are subject to common misconceptions when it come to animal care but they do have everything you need to take food care of your pet. I just recommend you research ahead of time what your pet really needs as opposed to what they'll try and sell you

We went on Saturday 8th June to get some fish, whilst there my daughter saw a rabbit that was up for adoption that she loved and asked if we could have it, we was informed by the assistant that he was ready to go tomorrow (Sunday) but a lot of people are interested so get here when it opens at 10:30am. So Sunday we was there for it opening and we asked the first assistant we saw can we have Peter Rabbit, she got someone to come to us. The assistant was really helpful went through a the questions with me, we went and got a cat carrier case out of my car and brought it back into the shop, when we got back to the rabbit there was another little girl there in tears because she also had come for Peter Rabbit, the assistant was so nice in a difficult situation and he was going to ring the Anlaby store to see if they had any rabbits there. The staff was brilliant with me and my daughter and Peter Rabbit has settled into his new home, thankyou PAH.
