Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you are looking for they will order it in. An amazing selection of air rifles at very reasonable prices. They have worked very hard throughout the pandemic and put sensible protections in place to allow them to stay open for which I am very greatful. KG

Good shop and plenty of stock but price match promise is a little misunderstood as I was told it only applies if a profit can be made. Therefore if the likes of angling direct do a product cheaper they will not price match unless it makes a profit. I get it, I really do but just lose the price promise! No need for it really as it’s easy to ask if you can ask without and get a no rather than a false promise.

I've been using this place for 40 years or more and I'm so glad we have such a large, and specialised store in this region. Massive stock of fishing tackle and baits etc, and a pretty healthy stock of airguns, and accessories too. Also if you see something online just before you press click to buy check with them first as more often than not they can use their buying power and beat that price . Or match it at least! I'm of the belief that we need to use store's like this, and others like them, or we risk losing them 👍

Great shop with such a choice whether carp, match or sea, stock levels always good for most bits and very friendly knowledgeable staff. Fresh bait always available but ordering recommended in advance. Predator anglers also well catered for especially during winter when deadbait stock is regularly replenished. This is an honest unbiased opinion of a shop I once worked in for many years but now use regularly as my local shop.

Dear Stacey, Congratulations to you and your staff. I have just read the article in EADT about the person who posted a negative comment about having to wear a face mask in your shop. I have never been to your shop but i know Blakeney well. Please let me congratulate you on your policy to refuse to serve people who are not willing to wear a face mask and therefore protect the rest of us, as an OAP I just wish more shops would adopt this policy, it is not asking much is it! The actions of this person only serve to emphasise the selfishness of certain people during this pandemic. (Did he produce a Doctor's certificate as required? I suspect not) Keep up the good work. Superb to deal with! Ordered an Matrix MTX2 pole and they shipped it BUT FedEx lost and found and then lost and found it again. Totally out of Birds control Lewis (at Birds) dealt with it brilliantly for me. Wouldn't hesitate to use again. Top class, friendly and very helpful

I like Birds because the owers and staff speak politely to me, they are courteous and very helpful indeed. I think that Birds is old school and they appreciate their customers. They actually put prices on their products which is very helpful as I have a limited budget and would not wish to embarrass them or myself when I got to the counter to pay. The assortment of garden products out the front of the shop is very good indeed. I did have my heart set on one of their concrete benches for my front garden but sadly the one I had my eye on had been sold and I did not have enough to get one of the other two benches as they are cash only at present. 10/10 for Birds being the best Fishing shop in East Anglia.

Excellent service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and above all honest about the stuff on sale, they wont push you to buy the most expensive items. They will advise you on what they feel is the best value for money and what works best. That's what proper customer service is imo. Pricing is a tad more than online but to be expected. Good selection of everything you might need. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be buying more kit from them in the future

Well impressed with the service I received from Birds Tackle. I rang them up on the off chance at 3:30pm 19/1/21 to enquire about the Fox brew kit (a hard to find discontinued item). I have spent months trying to find one. They confirmed they had just received a back dated order containing them. I placed my order straight away, it arrived today at 3pm 20/1/21. Faultless service.

Very very expensive , not worth your money , better tackle shops around , ie Breakaway Tackle , Markham's , took a sea rod back there clearly had there price tag on it , and wanted to give less than half price for it back , said not looking for the money just part exchange on some course gear , no joy , the guy had no interest in helping us , so went to Dave at breakaway tackle , great guy very helpful , will never go back to Birds , spent £230 with breakaway , worth every penny
