For a small village shop it manages to carry a wide range of stock including fresh meat and veg, and lots of locally sourced goods. The volunteers are all friendly and will heat pies and sausage rolls up to take away. It's so much more convenient than traipsing into a major supermarket. It's a shame it's not open onto the road as I'm sure they would get much more passing trade.

The community shop is excellent. The supplies are kept topped up and the fresh fruit and vegetables are super as are the plants. The volunteers are so helpful and friendly. It's a joy to shop there.

Sproughton Community shop is run by a commited and lovely bunch of volunteers. You can buy a bottle of champagne or some firelighters, for the size it has a large range of stock for reasonable prices plus speciality foods, also as loyally sourced as possible. A good deal of the profit are fed into the community. Well worth a visit.
