The best comic shop in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. A great store with lots of choice and stock, including a good selection of independent titles. The owner, Jared is very friendly and knowledgeable and always has some great recommendations, whatever your tastes. I happily drive a 4 hour round trip to pay a monthly visit. Don't miss out on visiting.

Exceptionally lovely comic shop with a vast amount of stock, with unusual, unique items, from book plates to beers! I was especially surprised by the depth of range and also that they had such an excellent selection of European comics and such a large quantity of very good value back issues. Anna was very helpful and we had a superb couple of hours, browsing and buying. Well worth the visit, indeed worth traveling to.

Great collection of comics and graphic novels from big hitters and independent publishers. The staff know their content inside and out, are friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Online and in-person shopping is great and their mail order service will ship anything they can wherever you are in the world swiftly, and at a very reasonable price. They're always quick to offer suggestions of new work by writers and artists they know you love or know you will love. The scope and scale of my interests have been forever changed by the staff here from pure DC superheroes to noir crime, horror, and beyond

The staff were so nice and helpful, chatted with us about some new releases and were very accommodating. My friend and I spent around half an hour just digging through the wealth of cheap back issues and came away with a nice little haul!

Lovely graphic novels, comics and manga! Good quality and variety, the manga section is quite limited but still good series. It has been long time since I have seen this many graphic novels in one place. It appears the main selling point are comics in the back of the store. Only downside is that could be larger. Recommended for sure!

Recently decided as the girl-child's favourite shop in Leeds. Has a great range of middle grade graphic novels that she is determined to work her way through at a pace. The knowledge and kindness shown by all staff in the shop towards my daughter each time she has been in has been wonderful - OK Comics really does deliver a service you'd never reproduce when buying online. Also, the site of her first ever bubble proudly blown with bubblegum (if you were looking for any blue plaque ideas...)

Absolutely wonderful shop! Both ladies super helpful and informative! Knew the answers to mine and my partners questions. Even when they didnt have the comic we were after they did a search in the shop and a ebay search as well. Came home with two new comics and a new website to purchase from! Very happy! :)

The greatest comic shop I've ever been to, there's so much variety, and so many books and comics in such a small space, its magical! Staff are incredibly friendly, passionate and welcoming, and have an almost paranormal ability to know what an individual will enjoy reading! Any time I visit Leeds I always drop by to get new recommendations and come away with an armful of comics I go on to love. A comic shop ran with love, I always come out with a smile on my face.

Very good selection of modern age comic books, staff members are very friendly, couldn’t see anything Bronze Age or older. Has a dozen or so boxes of back issues all 50p reduced to 10p for a limited time.

I have been getting my comics here for about 6 years and I honestly cannot praise the shop highly enough. The service is always amazing. The staff are always welcoming and happy to help pick out the comic that's just right for you. If you need some help choosing the range and selection covers everything from big superhero titles to more obscure graphic novels and I have rarely been steered wrong. If you're visiting Leeds then take a stop by to enjoy the charm of this shop, and while you're at it the whole of Thornton's arcade. If you live in Leeds then pop in one day and buy a book because reading is fun, comics are great and you could not wish for a better place to buy one from.

Hands down the best shop in Leeds. The staff at OK Comics are so welcoming, friendly and helpful to everyone who walks through the door. The collection on the shelves is fantastic, usually with a few recent back-issues for the popular series to make it easy to get into something new. The shop will reserve things for everyone who asks (please pick up your orders and support the shop!) and the lending library is brilliant. A must-visit for any comic book fan passing through Leeds.

An amazing little comic store that's right in the heart of Leeds City Center!! The staff who work in this store are extremely kind and have a huge passion and knowledge for comic books themselves. If you need help finding anything in particular, they are always happy to help you find it whilst always having a smile on their faces. I wish every store had staff who were like these guys! The store is very tiny and can get a bit over crowded when alot of people are visiting at once. But if you go in at quite times it can have a pretty cozy vibe to it, especially if you go upstairs where you can find a sofa to sit down on and read for a short time. Overall if you are wanting comic books and your in Leeds, I recommend this store as the GO TO store for all your comic book needs! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :)

It's an amazing little comic book store with awesome staff. Everytime I go in I get personal attention, recommendations and some great conversations with Jared, Nick and Danielle. All of them are great people with their own tastes in comic books so if one of them don't know what you'd want or what would interest you, one of the other two will. It's a shame that 5 stars is as high as the ratings go because they all deserve more.

Excellent independent comic shop. Great range of British and American comics and loads of obscure stuff as well as mainstream. Regularly has signed copies of things, and runs events like Drink And Draw. Also has a graphic novel library and a big comfy sofa upstairs. Staff are without exception knowledgeable & friendly. I came in a couple of weeks ago as I wanted to start my comic book experience with the Hawkeye comics. The staff helped me find all the ones and even made a little bit of conversation, they were very friendly. Then on my last visit I came looking for a specific one to finish my collection, and they've now ordered it in for me because it wasn't in store. I will continue to go back there whenever I need new comics :)
