My girlfriend and I visited the store at crown point in leeds, shopping for products for our new kitten. Unfortunately as this is our first pet we didn’t know what to buy but thankfully Oliver was there to explain everything we needed to know and more. Oliver is a credit to the company with his extensive product knowledge and fantastic customer service. I have never written a review before but felt compelled to do so, due to him and his incomparable service. Thank you Oliver and should ever choose to start my own pet business, I would employ you any day.

Been comming to this particular store for over 7 years now, I regularly buy food and other stuff for my Husky, Few Fishes and Two Cats, always get what I come for. Staff is always very polite and helpful especially Oliver, this dude has helped me so many times, always listenes with patience and replies back with all good honesty. Would definitely recommend this place slightly expensive but do offer a good variety.

A standard Pets at Home store with all of the items you're likely to need, I usually shop at Birstall but popped in here to grab something right next to the door so didn't see much of the inside area. Staff friendly, car park quite small outside but obviously plentiful parking nearby (with the risk of fines if they see you and think you're wandering off site).

I always use pets at home and I'm a VIP card holder my dog food is ordered and delivered to me every month.today I called into pets at home in Leeds to look for a bed for my 3 very destructive chihuahuas.I've spent 100's of pounds on beds for my dogs cheap ones expensive ones all sorts of different designs.anyhow I asked for advice before buying a bed today for my destructive dogs and was told if they destroyed the bed in a short period of time I could take it back and get a full refund .all staff were really keen to help me .thanks keep up the great work

I went to get a kitten and ended up with 3 they are well look after there . They give them all there vaccinations they check there blood for any infections or illnesses and give you a voucher to cover the cost of newting all are chipped to . These are the 3 I got

I was there for a children's fish tank. It appears very less information available at store regarding the products they are selling. There is no home delivery service available. Not even they bother about any packing before selling a tank. Very strange.

The staff and duty manager at crown point this evening were exceptional. From the problem I had with my fish tank and my new fish, to solutions and preventions. The duty manager and lady on the till explained what I needed to do in future , tested aquarium water and we’re friendly professional informative. Great service and couldn’t so enough to help!

Little bunnoes! Admittedly social distancing means you cant give them a pet, and now is probably not a great time to be getting a rabbit or guinea pig, but it's nice to see them. Actual stock? Good. Staff? Great! Our dog thanks you for the ice creams.

I am the first to point out problems but also the first to point out strong points when it comes to a product business or service so here we go. I recently lost my beloved Reginald Jack Sausage of 16 years and after 9 month decided to adopt Milo and Charlie, two guinea pigs from Pets at home. Chloe and Adam were wonderful providing professional and kind help, enough for me to go ahead as it was quite an emotional time. They were very neutral but at the same time gave me the confidence I needed with my decision. After buying all the kit and later more all at very sensible prices, I want to say a big thanks to Chloe, Adam and all the staff at Pets at home where that personal and kind interaction will guarantee my return business. Always helpful and good variety of products to choose from. My dog suffers with seasonal itching every April/May, so needs special shampoo. Found one here just recently that has stopped alot of the itching, and, makes her fur silky soft. I used to order special shampoo online which was a bit cheaper than the same one from the vets. My dog Bella loves the little tubs of ice-cream they sell for doggies. A good treat in the really hot weather.

Big mix up so massive apologies as doing a review on Vets for Pets on Easterly Rd LS8. As follows.... We had a beautiful German Shepherd called Morse and still remember being shown around before the official opening. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The care from this establishment to our mans best friend was second to none. The staff were empathic, caring and totally professional at all times. We can draw truthful comparisons with other vetinary services and have to state quite categorically that Vets for Pets, in our opinion, are head and shoulders above the rest. No need to look further. After a disatorous morning walk with my dog, Geoff I was in desperate need of some expert help! On the morning of 13th August, around 6am whilst out on a morning walk, my idiotic ginger dog decided to roll around in fox poo! As you could imagine, he stunk of fox poo. I didn't have time to wash him in the morning, as I live in Stoke and was travelling to Leeds for a meeting, so I had to leave pretty quick. I took Geoff home, popped him in the south facing kitchen on a lovely warm sunny day, and allowed the scent of the fox poo to really develop. Following my trip into the office, and a disastrous dinner at a near by restaurant, I went in to Pets At Home. As I walked through the door, I was met by the smell of numerous rodents, frantically running around their tiny little tanks above reptiles that would eat them alive given half a chance. Knowing what I needed, I headed straight for the dog shampoo section, could I find fox poo shampoo! Nope! I strolled casually around the shop, frantically trying to find shampoo for fox poo, but it was nowhere to be seen! The sound of the rodents grew stronger, I could hear them breathe, the tiny sound of condensation appearing and slowly dripping from the glass tanks! The poor vermin watching, as I strolled around the store, praying that I was their father! "Not today little vermin, you can stay where you are" I yelled. I knew it was time to ask the question! I nervously approached the cashier desk, "erm, I'm sure you get asked this all the time" I said in a desperate attempt to normalize my request, "but do you sell fox poo shampoo" I asked. "Erm, is that a brand or something you need" the cashier replied, I explained that my dog had rolled in fox poo, the disgust in her face was astonishing, she asked if this had just happened and I had to explain that it happened many hours ago, and my dog had been left to ferment in a sunny south facing kitchen. The cashier took me to the grooming section where she began to look at the numerous bottles of shampoo in stock, eventually she found a bottle (funny shaped plastic thing) that contained "Fox Poo Shampoo" - she looked at me in realisation that I wasn't nuts, and I think she actually accepted that dogs do enjoy a good roll around in fox poo, and my dog was no exception! I drove home, my dog still festering away in the glorious stench of a foxes nugget, wondering how bad it would be when I arrived. I opened the kitchen door, it smelt like an ancient witch had relieved herself inside my kitchen and smeared her deposits across the walls of my kitchen. I took my dog to the bathroom, showered the fox deposits from his fur, rubbing them intimately with my hands! I took the Fox Poo Shampoo and smothered the clown from head to toe! He hated every second, and I could tell from his response he had no remorse, he didn't even realise or care that he stunk of a vile field beast! I washed the shampoo from his coat, then smothered him again! "Every time you jump in poo, here you'll come for more shampoo" I chanted - now I don't think he knew what I was saying, but it made me feel better about it! I dried him off, and he smelt lovely! No more fox poo, just shampoo! This stuff actually works 😀 littlegmoon
