We purchased from here about 5 years ago and were both pleased with service and products so with this in mind we decided to go back. After the last 18months of businesses trying to survive And keep their heads above water, we wanted to support local businesses with our considerable purchase. You will not be disappointed Paul and Jason are both very friendly (not pushy) know their products so you are in safe hands. If you can’t see what you want in the shop they have an enormous range of catalogues of which they are familiar with. I would be surprised if they can’t find what you are looking for. These guys are the best and it’s like visiting friends when you go to the shop. A great experience they come Highly recommended. *****

I had found lights I liked on their web site and decided to visit the shop to see if they were on display. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Jason who came across as very knowledgeable and gave sound and sensible advice. It was very refreshing not to have any pushy salespeople. I placed my order knowing that I would have quite a wait for delivery as it was out of stock but I was kept informed throughout and said they appreciated my patience. They quality check the items before letting them be collected by customers so there is no disappointment of faulty items when unpacking them at home. Jason had even put the light bulbs inside each package and insisted on taking my packages to my car. I must have passed this shop 100's of times over the years on my journeys into town and in the past have thought to have a wander around but never have and so glad I finally paid them a visit as I wasn't disappointed. I like to shop at local / Independant shops where possible and this is a gem of a place who know how to give proper customer service and value their customers. I have no hesitation in buying from them again and can thoroughly recommend The Light house.

Sound advice and great service from Jason and Paul at the shop. These guys are knowledgeable and helpful and they offer a good range of fittings. We really liked dealing with them. I visited The Light House on Friday and purchased 3 ceiling lights. I was served by Jason who not only had excellent product knowledge but was able to offer me good advice and opinion on the type/colour of lights that would suit my setting. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions in a professional manner. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for lights. There have a huge range of lights on display coupled with excellent product knowledge and customer service.

Yesterday, picked up a new light for our hall, (what else does a man do on good Friday?) amazing selection to choose from, offering flush or hanging options. lucky for me, the chosen light was available to take away so by tea time it was fitted. Well worth a look, especially for that slightly different light. Great customer service too

Just visited The Light House and I have to say what amazing customer service! Jason was professional, friendly and offered expert help to my mum and I. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. He offered pros and cons to different light fittings and offered different solutions. Even though we haven’t bought anything (yet) he said there was no rush. This makes a welcome change to some places where you can feel pressured into buying something you might not necessarily want. Jason had some good ideas and gave us necessary measurements so we could go home and see if certain lights would fit our rooms. I highly recommend a visit to The Light House!
