I loved how the guys in store were so knowledgeable about their products. We have just got a puppy and the staff were on hand to recommend all the additional things we needed. Couple that with showing us the VIP card which we duly signed up for. We saved over £50 with the discounts available. I felt during our visit the staff went above and beyond, even helping us take our purchases to the car. Thanks, Pets at Home, from start to finish !

So helpful and friendly. Staff are quick to help with any advice or support and the environment is clean and tidy. The small animals are kept beautifully with plenty of bedding, entertainment and necessities such as food and drink. They are all handled very well and although our little princess was eager to escape, she and all the other animals look very happy, cared for and comfortable.

I don't mind pets at home but every time we go for our puppies food it isn't in stock at either store. It's not an online exclusive because I've checked. Their snuffle blanket was expensive & chewed by a teeny tiny Shorkiepoo puppy with inquisitive teeth. I'm genuinely surprised at the damage she did to it, so I concluded the quality wasn't very good. Yes, she was supervised at the time. I find some things they sell oddly expensive, especially when a rival store & independent store sells it for less. We still use pets at home but we also shop around. The cool blanket we bought our puppy is very good & she uses it often when she gets warm, it's not her go to spot.

Wide variety of products. But unfortunately the fish department let's PAH down badly. The advice I was given regarding having 2 different varieties of fish in my community tank was so wrong. If I had gone ahead and purchased the fish I could have ended up with most of my fish being killed and /or eaten. Please, PAH ensure that your staff know what they are talking about. I was told that I could keep 2 male Japanese fighting fish in a community aquarium with tetras, neons etc. I am so glad that I made more enquiries. Buck your knowledge up.

Staff are always nice and helpful. Absolutely love all of the products they sell however they are expensive. My puppy loves going in and looking at all the rabbits etc and fish swimming around. Great to take the kids to look around at the animals. Also, this pets at home has a vets for pets which is always handy. I wouldn’t recommend the 3 peaks reflective range as they aren’t reflective at all. I would recommend all of the other 3 peaks items though as they are good quality.

We were served by Will today who was absolutely amazing. He gave us all the information on how to look after a Syrian and taught us how to check if they are unwell. He was really passionate about the care and protection of the hamsters. I was really impressed with his commitment to his job and the care of the animals once they go home to live with families. I really appreciated his help and genuine care for these animals. He made out trip to pets at home worthwhile and taught us quite a lot. He's a real asset to the store in lincoln.

Click and collect is very useful here. Good range of pet items, fairly reasonable prices but ideal to price comparison items on Google search first. I have returned items a few times with no problem. Trying a new brand of kitten food from here, I buy classic cat food here too. Also sell some chicken food items too. Some fish in stock, sometimes small furry pets on display, hamstets, rabbits, Guinea pigs. Reptiles for sale on occasion like bearded dragons or geckos. Nice place to visit for inspiration and ideas too.

The parking is good and access is also very good, some of the staff are a little bit on the unfriendly side if I'm honest. And prices are on the high side too. Otherwise it's a good range of stock, and opening hours are better than going to a local shop. You pay your money and make your choice.

Covid rules are followed at all times. I rate their tropical fish highly for their durability after purchase, although their range and choice are limited to what I would call beginner fish. Staff there are knowledgeable and are very proficient at catching fish with minimum fuss and stress for the fish. They are my go-to supplier for everyday aquarium fish.

We had to queue to get it because they are operating a strict anti covid safety regime. And they also had a one out one in scheme in place. It was all pretty efficient really and having got my required bag of straw, paid my four quid left and let the next person in.

They do not always have what you need, choice can be limited and the prices are not exactly a bargain but if you need it quickly you have few other choices. Staff try to be helpful but are definitely "Sales" driven. The place is clean and tidy and animal welfare is obviously a priority and if you're an animal lover that has to count. Your vet is still the best option for animal health if somewhat more expensive. Overall, not bad but if you plan ahead, on line purchases are just as good and more economical.

Usually fab in every way, friendly approach and the vets are spot on and informative. Although last time I was in the vets, I was stood waiting for a short while with two receptionists, only one continuing a conversation for a couple minutes, I felt ignored and that it was a little unprofessional. Use the vet here which are superb with our springer. Also use the groomers, can be a little pricey at times but often have a voucher to knock some money off. Pets at home have some good quality toys in which make it a little more difficult to chew through and have a pick and mix treat selection which helps very much with training.
