I keep discovering new things in Poundland. This time it was their DIY section. Excellent selection of useful items, including about four types of superglue.

Good little store for things like snacks, drinks, limited stationary and homewares, medical supplies, washing up liquid, home cleaners etc. you get what you pay for here, and because it’s poundland, expect cheap, but also because it’s a pound, why not right? I’ve brought knifes here that we’re super sharp and other nick nacks like pens and notepads and neurofen etc.

First class!!! We wanted bungee straps. Could not find any asked a guy, he double checked, then rang another Poundland store for us. They had some and put them by the cashier for us to collect. Now that's sevice!!

Poundland is nothing special you don't expect it to be too tidy and you don't expect the staff to be so helpful. You go in and buy what you want for a cheap price. I love the this shop because it's cheap and convenient. The staff tend to look happy and are always willing to help. I hadn't encountered any problems when shopping there other than the store not being 100% tidy which doesn't matter.

Usually something in here you want or need , it's not at all bad, somethings aren't actually as much as a pound in other shops so check what you buy.

A lot of things are cheaper here than anywhere else. Many items are standard brands. In contrast to the review above, I have always found the staff pleasant. ...A year since my first review I am knocking off two stars because you are not served by people anymore but have to use horrible checkout machines that never work for me!

Two poundlands on the high street in lincoln, which are basicly the same, except the one at the top of the high street has more variety at times. Although some items are now £2, £3, & £5, the majority of the stuff that is still only £1, is a bargain, compared to the same item in outher shops which is a lot more expensive, plus a lot of it is good quality as well, so yes, you can save money useing poundland, & also get a bargain.

£1 filter coffee and other cheap items just have to make sure it is a good deal as some products can be found cheaper elsewhere the more exspensive items they have added have fore improved the stores overall quality of product

The cheapest meal deal you can get in the centre of town (£2 for a sandwich and 2 500ml drinks OR sandwich and 330ml drink and 2 snacks). Staff are occasionally friendly, but usually rude and in a rush to get you out. Queues can also be horrendous at lunch times. But then you get the service you pay for!
