Not bad shelves were a bit sparce, place didn't look like it was kept on top of in regards to shelf management and restocking. Service was efficient.

Used to be a good place to shop with a large variety of bargains to be had. Not any more,they have introduced a new promotion spend over £5 and get your whole shop at half price.Sounds great but it's not cos they have simply doubled all their prices.!!!

Brilliant shop with everything you may need under one roof! The only thing that I have found since March 2020, is the prices of certain items have increased by a couple of pounds eg, wool that they have stocked for years has gone up by at least £1, it doesn't sound a lot but it adds up and the price of wild bird seed etc has also increased. But overall the shop, the members of staff are all really nice and polite, but a member of management is rude and about as helpful as chocolate teapot!

Good bargains out there. Why to pay more when you can actually save on popular products? There's good range of everything from household products to batteries on really competitive prices. Staff is friendly. Downside might be the longer queues sometimes, but it's everywhere.

I don't visit very often. There are a few bargains for the canny shopper but to me I can find what I want elsewhere at a better price. The checkouts are often queued up and it takes a while for extra checkouts to become operable.

If you’re looking for cheap flimsy plastic toys this is the place for you. If it’s made in China or Taiwan for pennies you’ll find here. Went looking for a few stocking fillers only to discover that the quality has been reduced severely since the last time I was there and the prices for this junk are far higher than the products deserve. The staff are lovely. If you’re after cheap household goods like cleaning products you’ll find them here.

Spent more than expected but saved more on things like the painkillers I use occasionally for my back (£2.50 for brand but the cheap store version 50p) and loperamide (£1 mostly store branded elsewhere but 70p here) and other things I typically buy cheaper than most places, though they can benefit from having a shopmobility for disabled, though they do have most general things like snacks and drinks right at the start area, so I guess it's beneficial to less able bodied, overall great experience despite having a bad back from weather and cold causing it to stiffen

lovely store, went in with the wife, were both a small couple and we wanted these storage boxes which we couldnt reach. We asked for some help and this young chap reached and got them for us, we asked for his name and he said Marti's the name getting storage boxed is the game, we both lauged and was on our way brilliant custome service from Marti definitly going come back

Exactly what you'd expect from a Poundstretcher, although it was bigger than I expected and freezing cold! All the assistants were bundled up in fleeces, too. I guess that's one way they save money so they can sell cheaply!
