Best local Pets at Home. You can bring your dogs in. They have some pets in still - not rabbits but we saw rats and gerbils which need homes :( there is a really good selection of toys available, including extra strong ones. No queue and friendly staff.

This Pets at home has the Groom Room - and the groomer is amazing!!! It was the best groom ever (her name is Lauren, but I'm sure the other groomers are good as well). You can book an appointment on the internet and pay a deposit of £15. If you want to wait, there are some restaurants around and good shops.

We had a lovely shopping trip to the store to buy my pug a dog bed for Christmas yesterday. We were happy that Maggie (my pug) was able to pick her own bed out and we're really pleased with it. All the staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful, especially Vicky- the lady at the checkout. Thanks for a great shopping experience and for the excellent customer service.. Always very busy and you do have to wait to talk to staff for advice but once they become free they are so knowledgeable and helpful..1st puppy and didn't have any idea what to buy...the helpful lady talked us through the essentials and even give tips to help manage at night like freeze an apple after peeling and coring and give at night so if pup wakes they have something to nibble at. I was very happy with our experience. Pets at Home staff helped us so much. Made us aware of the VIP app that helped save us a fortune on our first puppy shop. Excellent service. Shop tidy and easy to navigate around.

Great place. Can always find the dog food I need, staff are very helpful and you get to look at rabbits and hamsters while you shop. They're in cages and pens though not just roaming around the store so don't worry. There is a groomers at the back of the store too. Never used it myself, but handy to know.

Vicky was unbelievably knowledgeable and offered unbiased advice with regards to buying a small animal for my daughter. Really helpful staff, with good knowledge about which sort of toys/food will work best for your pet, e.g. our dog is a heavy chewer, destroys toys in minutes, so they recommended antler as an alternative to hard nylon rings (which he still destroys)

Great service, we went on Monday to buy a hamster, the lady that seen to us was great, she explained everything to my son of how he had to take care of her and helped us get everything we needed , she was amazing with my son and today we received a call today (2days later)asking how the hamster was doing and if we had any more questions. Had everything I need. Fast efficency service. Didn't know I could save 10% on my order till I got home. Should be something that prompts or pops up when you access your club cars to scab 🤷‍♀️

Great shop for all of your pet needs. Cover dogs and cats and all other small animals. They even sell rabbits, Guinea pigs and other smaller pets. All pet accessories sold here too. There is also a groom room here to give your pets a good pamper. Staff are lovely and extremely friendly and helpful. Good access for disabled and also good parking facilities for both able bodied customers and disabled customers. Open until 8pm most days of the week and I think 10am until 4pm on a Sunday. A very handy shop to have in this retail park on Edge Lane and very easy to find. Well worth a visit.

Really extensive pet shop. Can even get a drink for your animal if you take it with you. Has grooming facilities (I assume for dogs but maybe they do humans if you just want a trim. I dunno ask Margie when you go in if she is quiet she might get the clippers out) Sell rabbits and little fury animals that die quickly but are cheap to replace. Including crickets and cockroaches for an Asian style snack... Went for a collar stayed for the que...

Poor man's Chester zoo. Great to take the kids when your skint and need to kill half an hour. Can work against you though as I had to sit through can I have a bunny rabbit on repeat for the whole drive home. Interesting fact, if you purchase dog or cat food and find your dog or cat doesn't like it, you can return the opened and partially used food for a full refund.

Some staff don't listen to what you say. I ask a staff member for fur clippers She pick out claw trimmers. I said to the member of staff why have you given me claw trimmers when I ask for fur clippers I had to ask another staff member who got me the fur clippers. Claw trimmers aren't going to help with matted fur. Your staff need to listen

Well impressed with Lauren in the groom room today cutting my dogs dewclaw no bother, it has been a nightmare on previous occasions at other groomers and vets and we've had to leave with dewclaw in tact as my dogs gets stressed, she didn't flinch today and her claw was done in no time👍would highly recommend.
